I'm looking for a 600 watt hps with a ballast and reflector. I don't want to spend too much money at all. The system I was looking at would cost me over $300 but it was a good system. I see some on eBay for uber cheap but many people on "the other site" have said that they aren't all that great. Could you growers hook me up with some links and advice? Thanks guys : )

High Tech is AWESOME!!! He's about 45 min down the road from me. They have sick prices on some stuff. Been there 3 times in the last month. Real nice fella too. Definately recommend HIGH TECH

and don't forget the ancient proverb here 420ponics....you get what you pay for....

going uber cheap can be nice for the budget atm but in the end it can create a plethora of other problems due to the cheap machinery. just me 2 cents and there are tons of sites out there. here;s a good one for sunsytems

Thank guys, a sun sytem is actually what I was looking at and I saw it for a little over $250 w/o the bulb. I'll check out these links.

OMG, we need to sticky HTG supply! I got my friend hooked up with a 400w Mh conversion bulb, a 400w HPS bulb, balast, hood,, AND timer for 165$!!!!

makes me pist that i spent like 350$ for just a 400w mh, balast n hood.
