Burnt leaves

Medium - Soil, FoxFarm Ocean Forest w/33 % perlite and 2 cups lime per 5 gallons, currently in 1.6 gallon pots
Strain - Nirvana NL x BB
Age - Just over 4 weeks in veg
Lighting - 150w CFL with 2 80w fluoro shoplites

I had trouble with overferting and low pH early on in the grow, but two plants recovered and were thriving until this morning, when I noticed burnt leaves all the way up and down the plants. The plants were transplanted about 2 and a half weeks ago into the FFOF soil. I haven't fed the plants anything but distilled water since the beginning of the grow when I overferted. Here are some pics (sorry for my crappy camera):

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I'm so frustrated right now!

The burnt tips seem to be a result of over fert and the spots look like a mag diff. if u use Epson salt, use it as a foliar spray

thats just my 2 cents

I've also noticed white spots on the top of the leaves - nothing on the bottoms. I have a 15x magnifying lens but I really can't tell what it is - whether it's some kind of dust or debris or an insect (mites??). It doesn't seem to move at all... unfortunately I can't take pictures because my camera sucks. How powerful a lens do you need to be able to see mites - how small are they?

Hey bro I've found Nirvana's plants to be very sensitive to over fertilization which is exactly what you've done. (I’ve grown AI and I’m currently growing AK48.) I looked at your pictures before I read your post and I guessed right away that it was a Nirvana plant. I’ve dealt with this same issue but much earlier in the vegetative phase. Flush your medium with three times the volume of your pots. The key is don’t fertilize your plants until they show you that they need it. This rule is one of the most important you will ever learn. I’ve read tomes from growers that choose to fertilize based on imaginary timelines or perceived needs that just happen to be dead wrong. (It takes 6 – 8 days in soil for Cannabis to react to ferts you introduce.) Less is more dog. Also the Internet is rife with disinformation which is why I would encourage you to get some of your information from non-Internet sources.

Ever read Indoor Marijuana Horticulture - The Indoor Bible by Jorge Cervantes?

I agree with all the other posts...but dont let little things get you down... those plants look healthy to me... everyone jumps to the lack of NPK....your real cause might be the pots your in...1.5 gallon and its day 30 of veg? I cant see how big your plants are but remember the golden rule! 1 gallon per foot of plant... samething happend to me last grow...

Nute burn?

Does this look like nute burn to you guys? I figure I'll ask the question and get some answers before I post some numbers up as far as PPM and TDS etc goes. Disregard the MAJOR burn on the larger plant as it is a problem that was there before, but I haven't cut the leaves off from it. However some of the smaller leaves are turning yellow. I have added epsom to the res and it upped the ppm siginificantly. I'll get more details to you all later, but right now, I just want to know if this looks like a burn or what? Thanks.

Ponics.

I'm with toka. Flush, if you can and then let it dry out over the next few days. It's early in the game, you'll be fine.
