Hello all Canna fans

I'm just about through my first crop with peyote purple and have been completely impressed with this strain. Went through two packs so far and have found (among other many wonders) one special strong smelling lavender pheno that is the most frosty plant I have ever seen.

So I am looking to improve on the one trait that is keeping this plant out of a full production run....yield.

Am looking for advice on which type of male I should be looking for to bump up the yield without sacrificing quality. Was thinking sour bubble but it will probably dominate the cross??

Any suggestions??

personally id use something with pre98 in so its kind of a backcross,, motarebel has a few crosses with pre98 that are top notch,, like fugu kush,,

thats my idea anyway,, would have been doing that right now if it werent for other circumstances,,

I am going to hit mine with Maple Leaf Indica, as I love that strain and it is Afghan as well. If I get any males from the PP or the Grandaddy Purple seeds I have coming, I will cross those too.

i know that X-18 from Tom is exactly what you're looking for because ive thought about this for the past few months... you can keep it nearly all indica genetically, and i feel both of their 'sativa' heads match very nicely. both come on smooth, relaxing, with the body stone to finish. flavors can only be improved.. think fruity/pear/apple/lime/kush tones the x18 will bump up the yield as well!

a lot of fun can be had if you dont mind playing with cs as well

This sounds great man....I've never grown out any of motarebel genetics, but ive heard good things. I was thinking something along the same line actually, but with sour bubble, the phenos in his packs lately all are spot on pre 98.

This is a strong possibility. Tom Hill has some very stable breeds and this is possibly just what I'm looking for. Really need to bump up the yield with something that WONT dominate the cross. X18 sounds like it could be a prefect mate for this bump and grind

spot on bro, monty made some nice gear..i personally am using bodhi's bubbashine to hit my pp females with..those bubbashines threw me some hella nice plants, very very potent as well....

Glad you find good phenos, sure some extremelly resinous ones, amazing sometimes for extractions.
Made some crosses myslef with Peyote but not time yet to know much but am sure you can get so nice hybrids with this line
