z99 outdoors north 13 degrees test grow
Thanks again wizards of oz for letting me test your z99. I planted them straight into soil(rice husk, coco, riverbed soil) on my balcony, 4 broke soil 3 days later, 1 took 3 days longer and is not growing very well. They only get fed water till i replant into 1 gallon bags with a bit hotter soil mix. They way I grow at the moment is I keep them on the balcony till they show sex, repot into 1gallon bags then under 18/6 till they are about 50/60cm tall. they grow much slower on the balcony as they only get 4 hours of direct sunlight, but for me its the best system with the least energy use(very expensive here). here pics from today they are 3 weeks from seed. groupshot z99 1 z992 z993 z994 z995 aka the runt grow on mota

Hi Donald,
yeah they will explode when put under 18/6 most plants do, growth is slow compared to full light 18/6 but it allows me to grow much more plants out of sight and select the ones i want to grow out without using a lot of electricity. cheers mate

Hi blynx,
They will be grown outdoors. I have almost 12 12 all year round outside. my cycle is outdoors till sex, then indoors under leds and cfl's 18/6 till ready to go outside(normally 20 to 30 days) then flower outdoors. over the last 3 years i tried many different ways and this seems to be the most efficient. It allows me to have a perpetual grow with 140 watts of lights(90 led, 50 cfl).

Motaloca: looking good so far. i see they are taking a liking to the natural sun light. 12/12 year round must be nice and easy to get those ladies to flower. What are the temps like during the day and night in your location of the globe? Gonna be nice to see what they look like in flower outdoors since i have been itching for this outdoor season to arrive.
That runt is like the z99 male i got in flower atm. he has a real strong smell of MANGO/CANTALOUPE/PINEAPPLEISH and is the smaller of the 4 i have and its for sure all up in your face type of smell so hope you get that pheno but in a female. TAGGED! Have Fun Be BLUNTED! -NE_G978- |
