I dont think we can even discuss this here. Not sure why but read between the lines and search around.

Some of my phenos of rez stuff were not great, particularly SD ibl and and Chem IBL but when i got the right pheno they were spectacular. One Chem IBL reaked so bad that all carbon filters were put to the test big time.
And KQ(redux) was very stable. 3 phenos and all 3 kicked ass

So anyway is it possible to make an IBL from a single pack of seeds? Wheres SOTF when ya need him? He's sittin on mad genes! Peace
If the pack of seeds is an IBL already then if you breed them its still an IBL. If the pack of seeds is a hybrid, then it will take you 6 generations of back crossing (stabalize) and then at least one incross (selective inbreeding). It takes 6 generations of back crossing to get to 99.21875%. A lot of breeders only go to 5 generations and that is only 98.4375% but in my opionion you would want to go to 99% and that would take ateast 3 years if you did it right.

F1 is where an IBL starts. The only thing that could be argued is that out of an initial group of 10 the parents chosen may not represent the absolute best that genetic line had to offer. The greater the population the greater the chance for other desirable traits to show themselves. Not to say you cant get lucky and select 2 kick ass parents from a single pack. I think subcool has said he's selected from groups of 20 to make some of his strains.

I think for now small releases to the server fund are most agreeable. I was contemplating sending in more galadriel, chemdog, and sourdiesel since I have proven parents for 2 of the 3 varieties already chosen. I haven't had time to test my chemdog male and female yet, but I will be able to pop some crosses of it and then BX the original parent to look for stable traits by the end of the year.

I think most importantly the focus of preservation should be on the crosses rez made initially because those may never be had ever again. The parents are most likely gone and rez released a profuse amount of his chemdog and sd lines that access to F2's shouldn't be too limited in the future...

*The fact that this forum has been left up is a testament to the probability of a return. In every other case I have seen of someone who got busted and it went public all posts were eliminated...There have been quite a few big guys bite the dust here and to not hurt them when they go to court posts and discussion have been eliminated yet this forum is still up and active...I could be wrong and this is purely conjecture, but I believe it to be logically fluent.

This is the reason for the project. Please everyone be clear, the AAA Reservoir Seed Preservation Society is a non-profit, repeat, non-profit organization. That's not to say IC and the server fund won't profit but like I said before, Rez was always cool with the server fund.

I thought about talking to Clarence about making all the AAA Reservoir Seed Preservation Society beans vip invite auctions cause we all know the asshats who were posting earlier in this thread will be the first in line when the beans drop.

Many thanks to the housekeepers who cleaned up in here. Wish I could make this thread adults only. Not for porn but for people who can act like an adult. I think this is a serious project and if we don't start now, genetics will be lost.

DJ short, just said a few weeks ago he never liked to go beyond f5 because they start to lose their unique qualities from the landrace parents and adapt to the bland indoor environment. Old time moonshine and maybe a few other lines of his were f5's. Not for stability but for uniqueness.
