I just started 5 of the 10 seeds of DJ Shorts Flodica I got off of Seedbay soaking in a dixie cup of distilled water about 2 inches worth. They are vegged under 2 65w CFL's in hooded shoplight from Yardbirds for $34 ( Great light ) and than under 1 400w HPS and 1 150w MH light for flowering. I also use all FoxFarm products so they well be in Ocean soil mix right out of the bag like it is in a 6 gallon bucket. For vegging I'll be using FF GrowBig and FF TigerBloom for flowering. I have heard on this strain they like light nutes and the FF Ocean soil has alot of stuff in it to start with so I'll only be using light nute feedings.

All 5 seeds sank to the bottom of the cup this morning and than placed in a wet papertowel and put in a glad container and placed in a showbox and put by my light to germ.

Now I'll soak some peat pellets with distilled water and place them under my 130w's of CFL's to veg.

Well four of five are up and growing ....lol and the last is about to pop up any hour now. ITS ALIVE ..... The taproot is already out the bottom of the peat pellet so sometime today I'll put them in some 16oz red plastic cups.

Yes I was worried after I bought them when I saw that a couple people had problems with the germ rate. But I stuck to how I do it and had no problems at all one is a little behind the others but oh well. Right now they are standing tall and growing just like they should be.

Here are some seedlings I started just before my wife passed and I more or less shut the light off for a couple days and no water etc... left to fend for themselves so I was very surprised they came back. Hopefully they didn't get to stressed during that time. But here they are out back in the sunshine.
