Outdoor strains
Does your company have any strains it would consider a great outdoor plant? Thanks for your time.

What type of characteristics are you looking for? In terms of outdoor plants, I feel like any of our strains can grow very vigorously and get real big outdoors depending on your technique.
Are there certain strains that you consider great outdoor plants in general? Obviously the landraces are made for outdoor as well but they are wispier buds. We are coming out with the Bastards Series which is a line of crosses that feature females like the Colombian Gold, Colombian Black, Old School Afghani Haze, Willie Nelson, The White x Aloha White Widow, Grape Stomper OG, Grape Stomper x Sour Diesel, Chocodelic x Chemdawg, etc. These females were pollinated by several of our top heirloom males like our Grape Stomper OG, Joseph OG Kush, Chemdawg OG, Grande Supremo, Mendo Montage, and many more. These would probably be very good for outdoor grows because they will consist of very large growth characteristics with dense buds. But, basically we've grown all our strains outdoors and they all turn out really well.

What a great response.
As for any outdoor grower you want mold resistance, high yields, bug resistance, and bag appeal once finished. I for one am more concerned with quality than quantity, however I am shooting for a 5p plant or more this year. I don't need anything that is easy to grow, I don't mind a stubborn plant. The third week of October is really as late as the weather holds up here in Nor Cal, bay area. Certain strains I know do great outdoors: Blue Dream, Green Crack, Super Lem Haze, Gorilla Gold, Sour D ext... Most of the strains you listed sounds like something I would be interested in. It is good to hear that most of your stains have also been grown outdoors and turn out well. I just ordered some Sun Maiden, hope she does well outdoors. Thanks for your response, have a good weekend. |

So I tried to pick up a pack of Sun Maiden but had issues with seedbay and they are no longer coming. I did pick up a pack of the GS x Joseph og, but I am looking for one more pack from your company to grow outdoors. Are you guys going to be releasing anything new in the next month, or maybe restocking current stock? Anything you would like to see grown outdoors, as I always do grow reports? Thanks for your time again, you have been very helpful.

Good question. We will be releasing The Bastards Series in the upcoming week. I just posted up a thread about them. The first two strains to be released are the Old School Afghan Haze Bastards and the Colombian Black Bastards. Both are great outdoor varieties!

Your in good hands with these guys Bullfrog. They will give ya the straight up and their genetics are definitely fairly priced and worth it. Cant wait to see what you do with some of their stuff, should be fucking epic as usual!!!!
Bummer on the Sun Madien not going through that strain is a real gem.

What up GrownOut? Thanks for the kind words. This year if all goes right should be an even better year. I built up new fences and I have raised my security ten fold. I plan on growing some real monsters this year.
I am bummed about the San Maiden, but I am looking for a back up. Hopefully GGG will drop some new gear so I can order it up before March 15th. That is my cut off day, I want seeds in water cups by April 1st. |
