I just make sure when I do the collection, I'm in a different room from my flowering girls, and shower off afterwards. Haven't had a problem with stray pollen at all.

i hang mine in a closet under the stairs by broom clamps mounted vertically on the stair treads! the clips hold tight and adjust automatically as the stem dries so they dont fall out! holds them from tiny twig to oh my god tree trunk bertha stems!

Lou, of all the pending crosses, the purp x mm would kick major ass! The mm can purple up by itself, so more purp in the mix can't go wrong.
A truely potent purple strain is what ppl. want (including me!)

My purp likes to foxtail, and produces beautiful, dark, fully purple buds. Unfortunately, the foxtailed buds are very light and airy.

Hopefully the MM will add some density and keep the color and potency. I agree though, it could be an epic cross

Here's a shot of my purp... Not too much stretch, lots of foxtails. Colors up regardless of temps. Starts showing the color around 4 weeks in. Purp on the left (black casey jones on the right)

Here we go...

Trucking along. Light colored tops are due to temp swings. 55-60F nights and 75-80F days. EEK!

MM2 on the left, 3 on the right

MM1, tried to top her, and ended up breaking the other top. So she was stunted for nothing, and still has 1 main top... Medium stretch, and startin' to put the buds on.

MM2, shorter, thick stems. Very strong lemon/piney smell when rubbed. Slower to start forming buds.

MM3, the looker. Great structure, and a nice stretch. I'm hoping that's my bertha

Looking good lou, just finished trimming my ladies. gonna get some shots of them in the jars up. these are straight up the densest nugs I ever grew, very stanky also. KEep it green homey.

Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package.
