Duly noted broski
![]() I think you mentioned my medium sized female resembled your freak. I'll definitely be watching her and the shortest, and from the sounds of it, it could very well be a few nice rock solid colas

Lou, I'm sure you've seen JBG's latest MM pics... hoping you'll do as well with yours!

Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package. |

![]() Looks like you should get a boatload of great pollen from those males. I know what you mean about having to cull some, it can be difficult to decide at times when they all look pretty good. I barely have any room at the moment, but I am definitely keeping one Live Fire male around and am hoping I get a nice Alien Double Dog male and SWT #4 male this run to keep it company, but space is limited so competition is fierce!

![]() Should have a boatload of pollen for sure. I'd have a hell of a time trying to collect pollen from 3 different strains, and keeping them straight. I just let all the boys pollen fall on a sheet of paper, and collect it all. You do individual collections with multiple male varieties?? You're a braver man than me!! The live fire and ADD are two of the top varieties I'd like to pick up from HOL. All ADD reports look great, and I've heard great things about the fire cut... I can only imagine the OGs that pollinate the MM also contributed greatness there with tha live fire! |

I've never done individual collection with different varieties before, so this will be interesting... In the past I've flowered out males from the same strain until they were in full steam, then chopped branches and put them in a jar of water in the dark leaning over a collection plate. They'll continue dropping pollen for many days, then I just scraped it up and froze it with desiccant after drying.
Presumably I can do the after-chop stage in different locations to get reasonable separation of strains. There might be a little contamination from pollen that flies beforehand, but then this is all for my own head so I don't have to try to achieve lab-worthy conditions. If all else fails, I won't consider it a disaster to have my own "Mystery Mix" pollen for pheno-hunting ![]() That MM looks great from all the reports I've seen so far, I hope to try it some time and looking forward to seeing how they do for you. I discovered last night when the power went out that an odor filter is required with the Live Fire and ADD, even in veg. Went into the room to check the temps and whatnot after the power had been out for a couple of hours, and as soon as I opened the door I got smacked in the face with the unmistakable odor of dank. I can't wait until the flip!!! |
