GGG GS x GSbx don

I would like to thank m4k and the Rev. G. Green for making this all possible. I received a tester pack of GS x GSbx don. No sense in waiting, pop them babies into soak. So 1-14-2012 and we are off and running. Looks like extra beans, 13 soaking.

I put 1/2=6 of my gs x gs-cdsd testers in water four days ago and into soil.
waitng for them to pop any day now.
I got 13 in the pack, nice fat and plump looking seeds.

Update

Well, it's been 4 days and my saga with GGG continues. After soaking for 48 hours, only 2 of 13 beans cracked. So I fished out the remaining 11 seeds and gave them the scuff treatment. Then back in to soak. It has now been 96 hours and we have 7 more beans crack for a total of nine. Still soaking the 4 that didn't.
Our nine cracked beans have been planted in coco in plastic seed trays as you can see below. Now it's just waiting time, keeping them warm and moist. Everybody, cross your fingers.

well wspman I see some sun starting to shine on my end.
out of my 6 GS X GS one has managed to pop and they've been in soil now for about a week.
I think I'm going to put the rest of the pack in water and hopefully get more to sprout
but the one that did break ground came up roots 1st so I had to do some corrective surgery on it so it ended up with a loop de loop

it looks like the baby alien thats just popped out of some poor saps chest or a baby cobra

3 sprouts

It's a wonderful day to be a gardener. I came home from work last night to find our first sprout.

This morning we now have 3, or 2 and a half but the half will be fully above ground by the time I get home tonight. That's as many as I got out of the whole pack of Candy Drop. Hopefully, more to come.

Not so good news on the four remaining beans that didn't crack. I have scuffed them twice and as of tomorrow, they have been soaking for 7 days. Don't think we'll be gettin' any action, all 4 were mature, dark in color.

I'm excited. Can't wait to get home and check the babies. I click a pic when we get a couple more sprouts up.
