even if its a low pressure system, that hard piping makes that water just flow......

I'm going to take a guess at it being on a timer.

Yep that's the idea.

Well as of right now I have open ended 1/4" tubing stuck in the coco. I water for about 60-90 seconds. That seems to be enough to provide a wee bit of runoff.
I've used this setup before and it did well for me, 2.5-4 oz from 2 gallon smarties.
I do have a bunch of woodpecker drippers that I've thought about trying out in this setup.
Trying to dial in the open end first for ease of use and no worries about clogged drippers. It seems the trick is to not let them dry at all, once they do dry a bit the water seems to want to go right through them to runoff before completely saturating the coco. As long as the pots stay wet it wicks better.
Last time I ran this style I fed once a day for 60 seconds and they stayed very moist. This batch, however seem to dry out in 24 hours time, which I would say is good but I'll have to bump up feeding to at least two times a day.

Oh yeah, today is day 58 for the girls so I'll flip in two days.

Hey all, well I flipped these girls a week ago. I think today is day 8 of 12/12. I also think I over vegged a little bit. They just didn't look 100% healthy, (Mg issue) so I kept babying them till they looked "right".
Nothing worse than flipping a plant that's not ready for the journey.
So the room is still coming together but almost done. Hung some reflectix the other day and made a pvc trellis that still needs to go up.
I'll see if I can get a good pic or two of an individual plant before the netting goes on. They look awesome I must say.

Well that's all for now, their eating H&G cocos A&B and a little pro-tekt and that's about it. Stopped the calmg+ a few days ago but will keep my eyes for signs that they need it.
