As my brother Duke of Grapefruits said, they should absolutely be showing you sex in veg and this is a definite on an 18/6 light cycle. Sweet Tooth (because of the SPG genetics) is an early flowering variety and the males will generally show sex under 24 hours of light at around a month old veg time in my experience and even more pronounced in a smaller container as the root restriction causes them to produce higher levels of flowering hormones as a survival mechanism to reproduce. Very smart plants they are

So they will show signs of preflowering or sex indication once rootbound and/or sexually mature but this should not affect anything whatsoever and actually just helps speed up the identification process early on which is nice. I am guessing you got a female or two already from the sound of it?

As long as you take clones while the plant is still actively stretching/vegging no longer than about 10 days into flowering then there should be no real delay if you wanted to clone from a flowering plant and them just showing early sex will not affect normal cloning whatsoever.

Most of the old SOL strains like Sweet Tooth & LUI generally do call for a 24 hour veg cycle for mother plants once they are older and established to prevent them from going into flower if they are in a restricted container size, that or of course taking cuttings and growing out new ones. Sweet Tooth will flower quite early outdoors and I have seen them done in Sept. before but of course it depends on location and phenotype. Just plan on it flowering early outdoors and that should suffice for now until we get closer

One last thing, they really do benefit from as much root space as possible. They will all but crawl to a stop growth wise if they don't have plenty of room to stretch out those deep dense roots and after transplanting a few days later you will generally see extremely fast vigorous growth everywhere as they get comfy in their new homes and get ready to grow big frosty nugs of sweet goodness (hopefully in big smartpots full of rich organic soil!)

Mugenbao thanks buddy, SoTF we have a lot of growth and things going on. All transplanted to 4 gallon home-made smart pots last week, took clones yesterday and flipped the lights to 12/12. These don't show much but I promiss to make up for that in a month or so...cheers...DD

The wife and I are planning to move to Cali in the next year or two. I showed her these photos and she got all excited. California sun is one of the big reasons she wants to move there (family and such being other reasons), and the photos evoked a strong reaction from her.

Well..to say the least…a lot has happened with my grows since my last update. The power outage lighting issue has sent some strains into flower, what happens now only time will tell.

The Sweet Tooths have migrated to a mound of their own in the greenhouse. There are two for now. We’re having 28s n lower temps so I’m scrambling to keep things warm here…at night..then airflow is an issue during the day. Everything in the greenhouse should be female but we’ll see how that goes too! I was very successful in my first ever cloning attempt, bought a cloner, and the Sweet Tooth was one of the top performers. If things get froze or go bad we have replacements I’m babying along. The next time you see these they will be bent over trained Doobie style.

Each mound got a ½ sack of Miracle Grow, Doobie covers his ears, potting soil, and a shovel full of good ol cow shit. I’m watering by hand until the hose quits freezing at night. All my grows will be updated by the end of the day today..thanks for your views and posts. Let um grow..cheers...DD

Sweet Tooth in a greenhouse... this is going to be awesome I too had great success with cutting's rooting very rapidly. Every one of those little buggers didnt show any signs of slowing down once cut from the plant. Once put into dirt the growth just accelerates like it was never even cut and rooted.
