I did and it turned out great. My friends back home ask me if they should pull the trigger as well and I say yes.

So, how many here uprooted everything to move to a mmj friendly state? Was it an overreaction that you regret or the right move?

doesn't a person have to live in the state for a year before they can get a med card?

Nope. At least in California, you just need to be a resident.

I lived here before the state went med. Since I got the card it is such a peaceful feeling as I don't need to worry about the neighbors or a bust or evidence around the house.

i did and it was totally worth it.

i've been smoking pot daily for 15 years. until i moved to a med state 2 years ago, i was a criminal in the eyes of the law. it's not good for your psyche to be a good, nonviolent, upstanding citizen and know that you could get arrested and imprisoned at any moment.

now i have peace of mind, a personal med garden, and jars and jars of organic meds

I want to but my home is in Fl. and not worth much right now if I were even able to find a buyer. What state do most choose to move to?

^^wait for 'Bama to go (hopefully). Would love that over any med state with possible exception of Colorado - which is too cold.
