Casey Queen Test Grow:

i want to start by saying a BIG THANK YOU to jonnybgood, if it wasnt for him i probably wouldnt have the opportunity to run this strain.

on with the show. i put 3x Casey Queen in paper towels on saturday evening to start the germination process. as of this morning, 2 of the 3 have a little tap root poking out. im going to wait until their out a little more before placing them into rockwool starter cubes.

they will veg under 2x 400w and flower under 1000w. im not quite set on the nutrients ill be using. it will either be maxibloom all the way through or ionic grow/bloom/pk boost. i just got a set of ionic nutrients for free from work so i may give them a go.

once i get the seeds into their cubes ill get some pictures up. not much to show off right now.

ok, the babies have been set into their first home.

as soon as their big enough they will go into beer cups filled w/ cocogro, perlite, mykos (xtreme gardening).

here are some new shots of the babies. looking great for only 2 days in their cubes.

one is having a hard time getting its shell off. ill give it another day or two and if its still on there ill have to help it out a little.

If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package.
