here are some long overdue bud shots of a Z99.

stretched like no other plant ive ever grown, nodes are spaced pretty far apart but the buds it puts out look great.

they have a nice musky almost sweet fuel-y aroma to them

They look great farmdalefurr,
i hope your enjoying the grow??

Your not the first to report incredible stretch ,
in fact everyone has done ,
the sativa in the genetics provides a good stretch ,
it will be more manageable and quite useful in clones ,

ive often found vigor lacking in many modern genetics ,
its essential where i grow ,
and i think its going to prove quite useful for growers ,
a fast maturing plant , with some very beneficial sativa traits ...

nothing spectacular, just some shots of a few M.B.S. clones i have going.

their off the plant in the pics above

im going to try to flower them when their a little shorter this time due to the stretch they go through. i have a couple plants coming down in the next few days, so there will be some spare room to accomodate these clones

Hi farmdale m8, sorry about the stretch surprise, oddly enough im used to even more stretch than the mbs and z99, but its a testament to the fact i have most only been working with my own aussie genetics for such along time. Im so used to it, it has become normal for me i guess lol.
Once you get used to it , it can be used to your advantage though. Plants need much less veg indoors and clones can be turned whilst still small and will fill a space that would normaly require more plants or longer vegged plants to fill.
I like to employ a couple of techniques mostly, depended on the situation and expressions im working with. Using the cuttings you pictured as an example, i would either top them and flower them now, with some training during the stretch to angle the branches out at 45degree angles, or leave the tops on and as the current branches stretch during intital flowering, tie and lay them down on a screen, horizontal under the lighting. Everytime they grow verticaly back up to the light, tie the top back down horizontaly, heavy training in this manner for the main branches, but stop as the plant stops stretching and transfers its energy to flowering in ernest. This will also lead to less nodal gap and much bigger yield.
I will see if i can dig up and post a couple of pics for examples.
Anyways enough rambling from me, lovely flowers farmdale and ty again m8
Much respect

Heres some shots of a grow with a very stretchy old pure zoidfuel f3 expression that somewhat illustrate the tech i described above
Much respect

those shots are pretty sick moon.

i actually just tied them down last night. like i said in my earlier post, i have a couple plants coming down in the next few days, so that will free up space in the flower room.

those M.B.S. will probably get another 6-7 days of veg before i throw them into flower. from your pictures, i can tell the LST will greatly improve their output

Nice m8, once they get abit more genetic age and you get used to them im sure they will produce for you. Ty again m8 for trying something untested and very different from the norm, looking forward to your thoughts on the effects of the different plants.
much respect
