this is a subject i know little on, can i get any info on setting fans up.. to.. buying the correct fans ? anything will help.
also, if i got 2 600watt Hps's. wuld it be the same power usage as a 1000hps ? sounds like a dumb question but i heard 600's use 1/3 less than a 1000 ? |

air and watts
The basics: you must have a fresh air supply, air circulation, and air exhaust. Your grow area should feel comfortable to you. I can tell if I have a fan thats not on. Become familiar with the feel of your area.600 watts is 1/3 less than 1000 watts. 600 watt lights are the most efficient per watt I believe. I would take the 2 600s over the 1 1000. My opinion.

might want to look into some flexible ducting , and an inline fan or a blower, dont know what size space you have, but i use a 265cfm hydrofarm blower in my space, from my understanding it is wise to use 2x the amount of space your active vent is pushing air out as passive air intake into your area.
in otherwords, if you have a blower mounted to the wall, and a 4" hole that the blower is mounted to , to blow air out of the box or room whatever, then you should have 8 inches worth of holes elsewhere in the box/room in order to vent properly, and to keep your fan motor from burning out. THC |
