Post chemgod 4D feeding?

I'm doing a multi strain grown and have scome chemdog 4D and chem BX1. if anyone else has grown them out how were feeding, I think i'm going to have to make up their own dinner for them separate from the rest!
they're in soil FF OF and they are constantly wanting way more nutes than the others. they get about 1000ppm every third watering to every other watering and they still wnat to yellow especially since the goodies in the OF were used up!
anybody else? were your chems nute ho's?

What size are your pots? To be sure that you are not having pH problems, you should check your run off. If the ppm in your run off is low, then you may have pH poblems. I use ffof and i nuted my chem4 and chemdd maybe 5 times the whole grow. I have a log here:

They closed the thread for fear that i was going to take over the world.

hey UC, theyr're at 6 wks and still in 1 gallon pots, been a few weeks late in up-potting them but everything else is rocking along.
I Ph my FF oF even tho they say its already Ph'd, I add a bout 1-1/2 tbs lime per G of soil and all my water if ph'd going in. the new growth, only on the chems are getting yellowish white and kinda crinkly looking?

ok...ph is 6.4-6.5 in and 5.9 out... hmmmm

Chems love Chems.

A truestory....

A buddy had a small room with quality gear, but a shitty PPM pen. When he switched over and bought a legit on, it accurately tested at 2900 with NO BURN to that point. He didn't keep it at that, (he did however run it at 1800-2100 and got 3lbs off 2k and, it was surprising quality considering) but I think under the right conditions they can take more nutes than many other strains. Very hungry ALL THE TIME.

If you read any of that thread youll see how i barely nuted and got green momsters. I dont add anything to $24 soil so i would not have added lime cause why would you have too. When you are in small pots, a grower must nute more frequently than growers in bigger pots. I dont let my ffof run off go below 6.0.

thanks for the heads up guys
UP, 2900 ppm! lol... not sure my blulab even goes up that hi!!
I believe it when you say chems are always hungry, they are always the ones a bit on the yellowish side with the new growth out of the 3 strains in the room
and stick out from the rest
take that and add what UC said about my low Ph runoff I'm just on the
verge of locking out and not getting enough in the nute dept.

btw I would never pay $24 a bag, i get it for $12. I have a quality soil Ph meter and my OF(east coast) usually tests out at 6.2-6.4. I always add lime to my FFOF and it seems to do well for me, my reasoning being is by the end of the grow soil Ph is always much lower than when you started the grow so adding the lime helps in that repsect.

about the low runoff, i plan to repot into 2 gallon bags very soon.
would flushing the soil help with it in addition to the repot

I consider myself an expert at hydroponics so i want to be clear about that. I do grow in soil to but it is not my expertise but i k ow that i know what im doing. Experts in soil can have amazing results in 1 gallon pots but us non experts it is much harder. Because of this it is easier to use bigger pots of ffof cause then you barly have to nute and risk fucking up your plants. When my runoff is low, i adjust my water and or nutes to higher levels. If i know that the plants are going to get just plain water most of the grow and my water is 6.8, then i know that i need nute at a lower ph say around 6.2. That brings it to where it needs to be. If my runoff goes below 6 this way, i up the pH of my nutes for the next time and check runoff to see what i need to do next. There are many variables in each persons individual grow and you have to find them all. I would need all your variables to tell you exaclty what i would personally do.

well i'm going to us florakleen to flush the soil.
I have a Q on flushing, i know you use double the amount of water as to the size pot being flush, so I have 1 gal pot so i use 2 gallons to flush but do I need to flush with 2 gallons of FK? or get the soil good and dripping wet with the FL water and then use plain water for the rest of the flush? it sayson the bottle for soil it breaks the bond between the plant and the system/soil.
if i flush with 2gal of FK water I would think i need to flush with plain water to get the florakleen flushed from the soil before I feed the plants nutes?

any others want to tell how they flush using a chemical flushing agent?

Just transplant them instead and give them water for 2 weeks pHd to 6.8 unless your ppm is over 1800. Dont use that floraclean.
