Thumbs up mini me peyote

back in july i got 2 paks of PP, something happened in route or something, I only got one to sprout--barley and it didn't have much energy at all, after discussing it with charlie I started the other pak in sept to check its viability
and only 1 came up then also,
this one i kept and let it hang around inside and out and its been flowering for the last month or so.
it has a very nice aroma, a bit sweet-n-hashy like a mex-sativa but other smells also.
and its the purple pheno,
since sept it only grew to about 8" tall

mini me peyote

2 sprouts from 20 seeds?
Sorry to hear that bro.
You've got a great attitude, as I might be choked if that happens to me.
Glad you're seeing some positives from the ones you managed to germinate.
All the best.

i seem to be having similar problems. i germed 8, i got 4 to sprout, but they are the slowest growing plants i have ever seen. its been over a month and they look like they are maybe 2 weeks. i was thinking maybe it was the medium i was using, fox farm light warrior, but maybe not

Question

now the probs I had were from the drop in july last summer and it was a fluke I'm sure.
i got 2 more paks in early oct and they were absolute beasts in germing! 1 day to crack the shells, 8 for 8 and they were up and running within 6 days in soil.

walt are your seeds from the july drop?
that is exactly what mine did,
the seeds that did crack barely pushed out a tail, the 2 that eventually did were extremely slow to do so. the one i have in the pic germ in mid sept? or late sept?
and 2-1/2months later its barley pushing 8".
and i put it into flower in late nov.
the 2 paks i got later were 100% healthy
evidently there was a bad batch somewhere from the july drop.
another ICer had the same probs from that drop.

Same experrience, but I would also say that some of those impossibly slow runts come out of it and turn into beauties.

I have one that I pulled off the table because it looked it was just dying as a seedling. Put it back on the clone table and let it sit there for a good month before it started looking like it was coming back to life. Where her sister seedlings grew and bloomed out, she sat there like a toothpick for week after week.

Then I moved it a 400W veg room and it sat there for another month before it started slowly growing.

Eventually, she caught fire to my great surprise. Stuck her on the flowering table and boom, she's now a big, huge, gorgeous flowering female that you'd never guess was a pathetic little dead thing a short while ago.

best,
rabbit
