The lighting is poor in these shots but I liked them so much, I had to post them. Looks like my girl has been out playing in the snow

She's a beauty. Thanks for sharing. Would love to know how much difference there is between the effects of this gal and your others.

Thank you kind sir for your words of praise but you deserve all the credit. Kick ass genetics!!! All I did was plant the seed. The smells have changed. I was going to wait and see what happens after curing. The indies all smell like hay after chopping. The #3 was my fav, she smelled like juicy fruit chewy gum. Amazing smell made me just want to start eating it. Hopefully that will come back after drying and curing because the hay smell is not very appealing. #5 still has a little way to go before harvest. She still has a wonderful smell of orange candy, like an orange lifesaver or those orange slice jelly candies. I really never had anything I would call grapefruit smell. If you want a cut of the #5, just say the word. It is your work after all. wsp

Cool, sounds like my kind of party with the juicy fruit chewing gum and orange candy smells!
![]() That smell you said is on the Indica pheno's after chop is pretty normal I think, just the drying leaf "hay" smell, I have gotten that plenty of times if I dried buds with more leaf on them and it certainly subsided after a final manicure and as you said, curing. The buds are likely being handled very gently judging from the health of your perfect plants (tells me you are careful) so I would not expect too much of the sweet scented resin aromas to be available fully to your nose for smelling untl they are in fact totally dried, cured, and you start breaking up buds and rolling some of it and rupturing those big fat swollen resin glands. When you start busting up dried nugs you better believe it's gonna rupture some resin heads and release the inner aromatics held within them. More importantly is they are going to be there when you (hopefully) vape some of those frosty chunks for the best possible taste and kind effects ![]() Sweet Tooth #4 however, is a lower odor strain it's not stinky or skunky and don't expect buds that reak afterwards like a diesel or chemdog or anything like that. The aroma is subtle and mostly sweet high note citrus or more earthy hashy berry usually. Once in awhile though a real gem stands out and in this case and what I have seen in other grows recently it only takes a few females to find a winner worth cloning and keeping out of these plants. Certainly your plants all look frosty & dank though each and every one of them and that makes me really happy certainly. The seeds you grew out were from just one Swt #4 mother as you know and she was not really what I would call a "grapefruity" one, these from what I recall are part of one of the mix packs and if memory serves me correctly the squat dense mostly Indica mother these came from had a more earthy hashy smell with some sweet & floral tones to it, still sugary sweet for sure but more importantly she was pretty potent with a really solid feel good Indica buzz. As evidenced by other more Sativa looking pheno you got the line is very open genetically and although pretty much all the flowers are resin drenched there are definitely variations in smells and phenotypes which is not an easy thing to keep when you inbreed something for several generations and it takes using multiple males & females to keep it that way. I think your grow showcases it well that even with seeds from just one of the Swt #4 IBL mothers there is still a nice healthy genetic genepool and they are not by any means bottlenecked which ultimately was my goal with this whole project is to have seeds that would reliably grow the familiar frosty Sweet Tooth #4 plants I know and love but at the same time not all look exactly the same because some welcome variety is truly the spice of life! ![]() Much love, looking forward to the smoke reports!

Last batch of #5 pics
This is the last batch of pics of #5. She got the big chop this morning. I can't wait to get some clones big enough to flower. I miss having this plant in the flowering room already. Notice the beautiful purple leaves from the cooler temps.
This first set, believe it or not, is from the next to bottom branch. I trim a lot of material from the bottom of the plant before flowering to increase air flow and make clones so this branch is 18-20 in. from ground level. Click to enlarge and enjoy
