SSSDH S1 HERMIE Issue! - Reservoir Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hello. I bought 1 pack of SSSDH S1 from Seedboutiqe.com thinking the price was nice. Germed 4 seeds and now 1 week in bloom all my plants showing sex and 3 out of 4 SSSDH s1 seeds showing balls and pistills!! ARRGGGH! the other 18 strains in my tent does not showing any hermie so lightleaks and stress is nothing comon in my tent! So rez, have you got more complains about SSSDH S1? Can i Get new seed from seedboutiqe without paying for it AGAIN? I will post some pictures soon.

i have popped 70 of these seeds, no hermies... grew 50 in 1 gallon pots, 12/12 from seed..

other 20 were popped outdoors, no hermies....

i think you got unlucky...

Okey! The last seed hasnt showed sex yet so i hope thats a pure woman with alot of sour diesel in it! I will buy this strain again maybe regulars next time.

definitely bad luck, i popped 3 of the ix-1 and ended up with one very nice piney/catpiss smellin lady. was strong, resisted pm pretty well and didnt herm through more than one light leak that casued others in the tent to pop nuts.

Have grown 6 of these and have only had 1 spit a couple of nanners very late in flower,have a very nice mother from them that smells of lemonade and kerosene.

No hermies here with mine and its around 3 weeks old. Packing on the weight.

I popped 10 Rez SD beans recently....5 males....5 hermies...

I have 5 each of sssdh s1 and sqv vegging and 5 more of each yet to pop...

I hope you are right and its bad luck......but everything is pointing to a genetic issue with most of rez's gear....you rarely hear something like that said on this site...but if you venture outside of here it is complained about ALL the time...

I grew 3 SSSDH S1s outside that were basically neglected and stressed due to circumstances not allowing me to check on them or water from June to Sept. When I finally did check I was glad to see 3 stinky plants budded out, albeit scraggly and stressed. I threw the water and nutes at them and ended up with some nice smoke and GREAT bubble hash from the shake. However, one plant's buds had tiny seeds in them. I never saw the male flowers, but I was in and out real quick paranoid as hell... no way any one else was growing in the area, that is just not possible someone had the same crazy ballsy idea as me. Nah, I doubt it. Plants were separated by 30 yards and the other 2 plants had no seeds. FWIW

I do have another pack and will def be running them.

They are S1's so I wouldnt be surprised to see a hermie every once in awhile. If you dont want to worry with that then stick with reg seeds. Any selfed or fem'd seed has a higher chance to hermie than regular seed stock in my experience.
