Lsd ?
Bog, have a ? I have a purple LSD about 2-ft tall with a stalk that is almost as thick as my pinkie, but I can squeeze it and it feels kinda hollow. The plant is real healthy and is twice as tall as the other 2 I started at the same time, is this a good or bad thing? I mean the hollow thing. Thanks, SP

The stalks and stems are basically hollow straws to deliver nutes to the plant. No problems with what your seeing.
I have a LSD that is growing about twice as fast as the others also. That one may become my mother plant (for the vigor). Rapid grow clones are the ticket for me. Lower or cold night temps will turn just about any strain purple. It sure looks cool. Texas Kid |

Yeah I got one of those super phenos too! The stalk is green all the way, the others the stalk is purple, ? Wish I had cloned it, because, I only have 4 LSD beans left, and hope I get one more out of those.

Yeah, I heard about the low temps making it purple too. But I live in AZ and it has been getting hotter by the day and it's grown a foot since the cold weather. I have a veg box in my garage and the temps are reaching 95 degrees. It's not even summer yet. Just put an ac unit in it. Hopefully it will cool down, but its still purple all the way to the top. I was thinking about cutting it in half and cloning it to have two plants about the same size

The holes are normal, that is how they do their thing, but I wouldn't be squeezing it too hard. I chopped one of my LSD's yesterday, here is a pic I took for you, you can see how big the hole is compared to the stalk, looks almost like a one-hitter, hey that is a good idea, I am going to smoke some LSD in the stalk of its own plant!

Dats a pretty fat hole but I have seen even wider ones.
Usually it is a sign that the plant is more equatorial and that it has not reverted by growing outside in more northerly areas. Each successive generation grown outdoors will have smaller holes if grown in the north as a natural adaptation due to environment. Don't ask me why but usually they have the better potency. :p LSD has purple stem phenos and it doesn't require cold to see it. many of my strains do that and it was present in the Lifesaver used as the mother of LSD. Some phenos are quite unique and of great value but there is some variation that is undesirable in the strain. I am sure anyone could find a nice mom in any pack though. BOG

Those purple Pheno's have that grapey blueberry smell and taste. You'd really be happy with one of those. I have a nice purple Lsd male that I plan on crossing with Lifesaver, Apollo11 G-4 and Sour Queen. Very very interesting crosses if I do say so myself.
