Man, I have been wondering that for the longest time...I have a micro-grow going with 200+ watts CFL, and 3 of the bulbs are 23 Watters...I wondered if I replace them with the odor removal kind, will it be effective at removing odors from my cab...Might just have to try it if these bulbs ever make their way to local stores...

Very interesting, perhaps one could replace all the bulbs in their home with these turning the whole building into a deoderizer. I would expect these bulbs near flowers to affect the aroma of the finished product.

Such a thing DOES exist, but not for 10 dollars a pop. SunPure makes an air filter that is installed a furnace intake that consists of a 4 inch pleated pre-filter, and then two bacterial-killing flouros. Kills mold spores, almost any scent, etc. I don't know how they work, but they do. Also, they're ultraviolet, and probably wouldn't be suitable for growing cannabis unless you had a shitload of them. This filter runs at about $900 I believe... so yeah. Spendy technology that DOES work.
