Any recommendations on an ozone generator for a larger sized greenhouse...30x60?

I am sure a 12" vortex could keep the greenhouse cool and the outside smell free. Even if legal, I wouldn't want the entire property to reak!!!

Guess you shouldn't use a fan then if it's illegal. I'd rather not break the lae and get it legalized, myself

Yes...noise could be a factor if neighbors are close. The sound can carry quite a bit in the still night air. I was thinking of four CAN 150's w/ 12'' fan..scrubbing the air..in each corner of house. Or...an industrial ozone generator...does anyone have any experience using large ozone generators?

Ozone is a strong smell and can cause breathing issues. It is as much of a complaint as a loud fan. Fans aren't that loud if sound proofing measures are taken. A box around the fan with sound absorbing material would be close to silent. I am not sure what the decibal level is for noise ordiances.

What about a small greenhouse 6X8 or 10X10? Would a carbon filter and fan remove most of the smell and keep it cool enough if it had only a small passive intake to keep the pressure inside negative??? Also I only get about 7 hours of direct sunlight everyday.

From what I herd carbon filters are useless in a GH.

I read the best way to mask the smell is having 2-3 times more "aroma plants" then you do cannabis plants.Daphne Odora,Rosemarry,Thyme, and Lavender just to name a few, are good ones to use.

Hi THC123,

If you run an Ozone generator downstream from your greenhouse, with it's own mixing room/baffle box you should have no problems.

If you stick in too much O3, it will smell of O3 around the area

If you stick it in the greenhouse you may zap most of the flower's smell in the last few weeks, BUT, O3 works very well sterilizing air, killing mould spores, so may also be a handy tool against any mould outbreaks.

Re smells in general, look at they guys hunting Deer sitting up in high seats, only 3 or 4m up and very reclusive wild animals [usualy] cannot smell them up there, so, if you stick your exhaust/exit up high, nobody should be smelling any O3, or weed.

If you power your O3 generator via a computer UPS, emergency battery backup, if there is a powercut, the neighbourhood does not get stunk out by all your suddenly un oxidised flowed scents, the machine carries on zapping it on battery power.

Good luck
