Glow Panel LED 45w vs CFL 160w for 18x18 and 2x2
45 watt grow panel or 160 watts CFL?
is the 45 watt grow panel sufficient to cover an are of 2.25 - 4 square feet (18x18" to 2'x2') .... and run through Bloom? reveiws on dealer site says "barely enough to cover a 2x2" ... has anyone bloomed in low foot print with a GlowPanel 45w (not GROWpanel) ?? how was the density and yield? Am i better off just running the CFL? literally 10x cheaper and easier to do.... but i really want the low energy and low heat..... but can the GlowPanel actually make decent bud? or am i gonna get 1/2 oz of fluff? a new 175 MH bulb is 10-$15 ... a nice bulb with highest output, or the HPS150 conversion bulbs, are like $60-70 each.... for the cost of 2 bulbs i could buy one of the 45wGlow Panels.... my $10 bulbs put out 13000 lumens and the expensive ones put on 15 (the hps conversion bulb)... however the HPS arc-tube is elongated vs MH stubby ... which does visibly change light spread. MH has super hot spot cause of that fatty shape. how many lumens does a Glow45 give? i just read lumens arent even an equal comparison so wtf lol.... |

Lol no chance. I've got 50w of led light output (not of power draw like commercial units claim ) in 1sqft and I still only use that in combination with a 70w hps.
45w commercial led = decent pc or nano grow.
