Hi ICMAG,

haven't bought a car for 5 years, thinking about upgrading my current whip.

Can anybody point me to websites where I can compare prices on used cars?

My budget is 10-20k. I haven't paid attention to cars for years so I don't know what's really out there.

So criteria:
- 15-20k
- car, small SUV
- don't care about make/model. maybe a korean car? No fords preferred.

Also, are some areas of the USA cheaper than others to buy a car? Is it worth flying to Cali to pick up a whip?

I picked up a 2008 civic ex sedan in may 2010 for 16k with 20k miles on it.

find a friend who knows a guy w/ a DEALERS lisence and get them to take to the next auction they attend.....cash in hand U'll get the best deal ever if U know what U'r looking for and what book value is.....on the model u want.....
got my last Land Rover this way for way WAY....WAy under....

When you decide that you are going to go for something, and you don't let anything stand in your way, you open the door for great things to happen. And once you have made it that far, after having known what things look like from the bottom, you may find that the view from the top, is that much sweeter.
