What's the difference between ChemIBL and Chem1.1?

I thought the IBL came first but maybe there was a problem and he put out the V1.1 as the replacement. Now I have no idea because I just as some new IBL's get released on the bay. Does anyone have some info on this? I want to buy one of the packs but what is the difference and which going to be better?

The V1.1 has been created with a different dad than the IBL, either are good.

So let me see if I have this right, the IBL came first then after that he used a different dad? There had to be a reason for this. Is the new dad better or was there problems. I want to buy a pack but I would like some information. Any growers care to elaborate or you can send me a PM. Thanks in advance!

Here's a quoted post from Rezdog regarding the V1.1, I've bolded the bit you want to read.

The Chem "D" Clone is the Cornerstone of the "CHEMDOG IBL" inbred line, and it's been posted that way since Day One.
I ran the whole Chemdog Family for over a year before deciding to work the "D" Clone like I did The Sour Diesel Clone, into an IBL,or inbred line. None of the other "Chemdog" clones were even close in overall quality, yield, flavor,or potency. Chemdog D is mutherfukkin' potent, with a great, almost retro, deep skunk flavor, and the yield.... Well, the "gram per watt" "Yield Grail" is easily in reach when you know your shit.
The initial out-cross was to Sensi's Hindu Kush, after Reservoir tested the HK extensively, and ultimately re-bred new HK stock of our own to work with.
First, there was CHEMDOG KUSH released. That one was kick-ass.
Then there was Chemdog BX#1,Chemdog BX#2,Chemdog IX-I (which was Chemdog BX#1,in-crossed) and after that,Reservoir ceased with exacting generational labeling,so our competitors can't see how we Do What We Do. Reservoir ran several more generations, then last year, after many years of focused work, released CHEMDOG IBL Version 1.0. It's been everything I thought it would be,and more, with only a couple minor tweaks needed, imo,to be perfect. Check the new Chemdog IBL threads popping up,and compare against the Chem D Clone-both visually and by what people are saying about the IBL. You'll find that Reservoir succeeded again, and,as usual, the trolls were fucking wrong.
Soon,CHEMDOG IBL V1.1 will be released, where Reservoir switched up the P1 Dads, looking for a wee bit more homogeneous phenotype expression-ie. "tightening it up" a bit more.... Revising, always, when I see the need or opportunity to improve upon a release.

Thassall' for now!

Happy New Year!

Thanks for the info 40. I'll go with the 1.1 it's
Just strange that a bunch of Chem IBL's just made their way to the bay the other day. Seems like if he improved it in the 1.1 and it was more homogenous then why release more IBL. The ibl is supposed to be homogenous in the first place. Very confusing. Thanks for the help.

What up. Things are different around here these days. Been going down hill for a while. Very sad.
I got some packs of the ibl. Not sure if I'll ever grow em.
Good to see you around.
Peace.

Good looks on the reply and info. It is obvious that things have changed but I believe that this could be a good thing. Company's lose focus in life but it doesn't mean that it's over. If Rez is smart, he'll remember how he was in the good ol days. Sometimes things have to go wrong in order to put us in check. Some people will come out stronger this way and learn that any day could be your last. I believe he'll come up with something that will bring people back. Projects can't always go perfect and some are hit or miss. This year I just wasn't as interested in some of the new releases like in the past. Personally I just want all the name brand clone only's in seed form and some cool hybrids between them. It seemed like that was part of the model here but maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about. I've been smoking a bowl of Rez's dsd as I'm writhing this thinking why can't I just come here and buy a bunch of packs of this. I love my chemdd and so does my whole state. I think he'll figure things out and come back strong. People these days have short memories and can move on quick. That's why you have to keep their interests and keep them with you for the ride. I also think its a poor global ecconomy and will be like this for many years to come and overpriced seeds is just a bad thing for the most part. Some strains deserve it. Your really working for your consumer so you have to think about them too. Damn i love this dsd. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I made a shit ton of DSD f2's,so at least the strain is around.

If I could get any Rez seeds it would be SD IBL from 07-08. That was some of the best herb ever.

Tis sad, but true. I think in the hype, some quality was lost, and unfortunately replaced with more timely plants that could pump out the ever growing demand. Although with most commodities there's a tipping point, I always though Rez would do everything he could to insure quality, but at such a high volume it's hard to QC. I, like Ganj, am sitting on multiple packs (shit i have 3.5 packs of Sour D IBL alone) and at this point I almost want to gift them, instead of covet them as I once did. Glad you f2'd the DSD Ganj, I know you found something special with her.

Come back to us Rez and bring the elites you know you have. Wishing him well regardless.

UP.

PS totally off subject, my bad.
