At term, the offspring were delivered normally by the mothers.Twenty-five offspring (15 males and 10 females) from each group were tested at 65 days of age in a Lashley III maze and were evaluated according to the following criteria: 3 out of 4 consecutive errorless trials; the number of errors committed and the time spent in the maze.
The Cannabis Sativa treated group was significantly inferior to the polyethylene glycol group in all three parameters, although this difference was not demonstrated when evaluating females alone."

250mg seems like a lot of fucking thc for a rat

one gram of pure oil is not pure thc and if a man who never did drugs before ate it he woudl be rocked

now give that to a rat 3 days ian row during pregnancy

they fucking spun the fucking thing on sativa to the extent that they stressed the fuck out and the mothers stress fucked up the babies

The dosage was 250mg/kg for the rats, a 150 lb person is ~68kg which gives like 17g of extract that you would be taking. Seems like a ridiculous amount.

What is truely rediculous is that they are comparing this to humans consuming cannabis. Any person dumb enough to take 17grams of injectible thc every day while pregnant doesn't deserve to have kids. This is the crap science that our beloved government funds all the time. The equivalent would be smoking about a half pound every day or eating a qp and that is assuming 20 percent thc....just like I do wtf are they proving here....I do find it interesting that the glycol and cannabis females were not different in performance. Kind of flys in the face of cannabis inebriation being compared to alchohol inebriation BUT that would never be mentioned...guess what would happen on day one if you injected that poor rodent with 17g of ethanol...hint it starts with DEA.

250mg/kg sounds like 250mg Per kg and rat is nowhere near a kg, so it would need to be downcalculated?)


interestingly they were talking about this in the show "big bang theory" the other day, i wonder if its connected. (claiming one characters mother smoked pot while she was pregnant)

i never pay any attention to science reports on drugs.

they are always skeeved or impossible to tell if they are influenced by greed or pervertic frames of mind..

heck, 80%-90% of all science is distorted by the same (wanting to get famous or rich and manipulating results, or it bloody looks like it.

if money, fame or prestige is involved, i find it always pays to be as skeptical as you can.

(and scaring people for health reasons is heavily money involved)

2 types of scientific reports i never pay attention to.

drug reports and health reports. (its bad for you reports and its good for you reports, former usually done out of prejudice or money reasons and the latter done out of money reasons (they want to sell you something)
