Talking peyote purps!

started my peyotes about a month ago and they sprang up nicely!
i put them in the standard 18oz beer cups with a 3:1 mix using FFOF with perlite.
they are taking top honors for being the hugriest seedlings ive ever had taking in 500+ppm within 2 weeks!
I had some leaves yellowing at 10 days and they were in FFOF!!

here's one a day after a heavy feed

here's a group shot of 8 peyote's @18 days
I'm about to lose the little runt in the bottom row

Lookin' good, do you prefer starting in FFOF vs. their LW? I tried the Light Warrior for the first time and wasn't so much impressed.

Also, i do the exact same thing with the beer cups and label them with tape (as i'm sure many do), but I tend to forget to transplant on time. I'll notice that growth might be slowing down, and then a week later i'm like "shit they haven't grown" and then I think "shit i need to transpant!" but by then it's already too late, so to speak, and growth is stunted a good two weeks by the time they bounce back, what a waste of time. SO i had this epiphany last night to jot down the DATE of transplant on that same strip of tape!

Now it'll be right in my face rather than trying to remember when, I have a "journal" i keep but don't update regularly lol so it doesn't necessarily serve it's purpose to the fullest...

Back to the point, Peyote's are lookin' mighty fine, I'll be watching as I may not be too far behind you in popping my beans.....

Thumbs up

@ 3 weeks they went into one gallon grow bags.
the little runt is still in ICU but its looking terminal for the lil guy.
I love the explosive growth when they come out of the beer cups and start spreading their roots into a new 1 gallon home!
here are the 7 at about a month freshly topped.
the 3 in the back are a lighter lime green while the others are darker with bigger fans.

this guy seems to be the new runt of the litter so out of the original 8 I should have 6 good ones to flip into 12/12

thanks blue jay and StRa

Ive always used FFOG cut with perlite for my seedlings and never had any trouble with the mix being too hot.
they thrive in OF
i think most people that have probs using OF on seedling are due to other issues.
OF is too heavy by itself especially for seedlings so it has to be cut 30% or more imo
when they're in beer cups I have no set date when I put em into 1 gallon pots.
I up-pot around the time when i can give them a good soaking and they are bone dry the next morning so
they need a bigger home
usually a few weeks

WOW, have these peyote's exploded with growth under a 1000 watts of MH
and a gallon of OF at least doubled in size in about a week,
the leaves on these are monsters!
reminds of of my BOG sour strawberry kush and sour bubble fan leaves...HUGE!
Q... hows the stretch on these PPs? my chems and CJs are ready for flippin...

here's a mixed group shot of peyote's casey jones#3 and chem dogs
the peyotes are a lighter green with the massive saw tooth fans.
I'm kinda hoping the godzilla peyote on the far right is a male, what a stud to make more peyote's eh

heres a group shot of 4 of my PPs
