Better late then Never....Casey's Dream
Hello Good people of Earth, I had the pleasure of growing some of House of Love's Casey's Dream this summer. I had originally wanted to start this months ago.... work, family and alot of gardening didn't allow it. I want to apologize to Festi, sorry I'm late for the show Sir, I dropped the ball.
I thought about not doing this write up, due to being so late and the fact that most of the budding pics were "mysteriously" erased off my camera's disc. I think I know who did it but she wont confess...bah! But this plant is worth it, the few pics I have will show you what she's all about. I got these seeds in late June, I had told Fest I would squeeze at least one in, to my already crowded backyard. Being so tight, I ended up putting her in a 45g smart pot, with the majority of the other plants being in 100's. All of my other plants were transplanted on June 1st, so they had two months on my Lone Casey's Dream. Here she is on Day 1 of her transplant July 30 You can see her in her cage next to my other sweethearts, she was a tiny titan. Here's two shots taken on 8/20, she's really going to town, can you say vigor? 9/11- Really getting her stretch on, so many bud sites. 9/17- She's caught up to all the other plants and starting to pack on the girth 9/24 Can you make her out? I wish I had the rest of the photos to share with you, it suxors~ I really didn't have alot of time for this plant, I have to say it was fairly abused. It wilted more times then I could count, came back strong everytime. I barely fed it, maybe 3 teas its whole life, really hardy plant. The pheno I grew was heavy on the Blue Dream side, smelled like it the whole flowering cycle. Carried through with the cure aswell, soul penetrating smoke, full of sweet blueberry and spice. Fckin awesome, I tell ya. Icky sticky too, peepz this- lol~I want to Thank Festi & Red for letting me grow and enjoy their creation. Like I said before, wish I could have done it right. ![]() ![]() ![]() If you have the opportunity to buy a pack of HoL's Casey's Dream, I highly suggest you do.

Hey brother Norcal! Glad you're not m.i.a., was about to send out Search & Rescue!!
Those are some killer pics man, and the bud porn is very nice indeed! Thank you!! Now if we just had some Casey's Dream beans to sell... my last pollenation attempt failed, guess the casey pollen was too old. I did find some f2's in my seed stash, so I'll do a run early next year. Thanks again brother!

We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package. |

You west coast guys rock some serious outdoor shit! I can't even imagine having a yard full of trees that size! I'll bet the smell during peak flower is overpowering!

Hey NorcalBob, nice report! This is 1 of the main strains I want to get from HOL so please keep us informed when you get more stock ready cause i'll be waiting in line. I loved the Blue Dream I got earlier this year, and Casey J is right up my alley even though we've never met officially so this strain was a must try. GL on the breedings and take care 1
