Hey Kabookie, the Rotten Bannana is a redspaghetti creation, so I can't comment on it (hopefully red pops in). But I do plan to do a seed run of the Black Dream next year. I'm thinking the black dream (bubblegum haze x blackberry (raspberry cough x black domina) will be our highest yielding strain. The cross gets humongous, yet has the pole structure of the black domina. There are some pics of her in one of the haze hybrid threads... she's a super freak for sure.

 Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package. Yeah I want the Rotten Banana for sure but I have mentioned that before I am sure.
  That Black Dream sounds nice. Got a couple outdoor growers who might wanna run those and we can see how they do. Sure they would be some epic plants. HOL Rocks the house. So far everything I have seen from both festi and red have been very impressive and I am hard to please. I have turned my nose up to some of the so-called "big name breeders" stuff and would rate the HOL gear alot higher in quality. Its also fairly priced compared to paying alot for something you dont even know if what your getting is the real thing. Red and Festi: Keep doing what you guys do over there and know G/O is here to help out any way possible.

 Hi everyone and thank you all for responding to my question as well to my post, thank you very much. However, ...... I thought that the Black Dream was half Blackberry, not Black Domina. I mean if there has been a change in that cross it's fine of course but in the discriptions it says Blackberry. ... ... Now with that being said, I think Black Domina will be awesome in a cross with Bubblegum Haze! And, I just happen to love the Black Domina too. It will be fun to taste what the Bubblegum Haze will do to the Black Domina's spiciness, and I bet the resin production is through the roof in that cross too. So either way be it Blackberry or Black Domina I am going to be very happy to get a pack of these, or both! The Rotten Banana. I'm hopping that some of the Banana come through in that cross. I reeeaaalllyyy want a cross/ strain to be super banana smelling and tasting. I have read over the last two years about just the Banana strain and what people had to say about it, and I know it's something I want to add to my collection. It sounds oh so awesome to me, and probably one of the more bazzar yet familiar cannabis strains out there. It's just for some reason no one seems to want or be willing to work with that strain. A shame really for those of us who do not have access to such a strain too. Festivus - I just started to study the creations that you guys are making and I love them. I will be getting more HOL creations for sure! You guys have done just a wonderful job with your presentation of the crosses and the marketing, and I love the forum too. It's funny, I bought a pack of your Jock Horror last year when you first placed them on the Server Fund, and now here you are making magic. How far you have come and how much has changed since then. I really do look forwards to seeing where all of this goes as we move into the new year. Next year should be really fun and rewarding for you guys and I hope so very much too! I have here about a dozen pack left, which is the reason why i cant release em until i make more. which is real soon btw,thanks again for taking an interest in HOL, maybe you could do a test run or 2 with us once you find something that interest ya. cheers red. |
