MIDNIGHT MADNESS Test Grow Stage 1:

Ok so figured since I got the first round started up I would go ahead and post up a thread. I dont have pics of the plants yet as they havent broken ground yet. Figured I would report my germination rate at this point if anything and in a couple days they should have broken ground. I am really happy with the Midnight Madness so far.

I put 5 seeds into germination and ended up with 5 cracked with the perfect sized tap root poking out. Took a bit longer for the last one to crack but atleast it did. I am so stoked. I am planning to pop another 5 next week to make up the 10 I told Festi I would try and run out. I have to make room for atleast 5 Live Fire's as well. Going to be lots of love in the next run. Gotta sqeeze some of my 3yr old Rez stock in there somewhere too.

Ok so when I get some above ground I will start takin some pics.

Since others have had issues and I didnt seem to have any issues. I use a piece of paper towel and fold it over and then wet it and then squeeze out the extra water leaving it moist then place the seeds in it and wrap then up and put them into a plastic zip lock bag. Just before I seal the bag I breath a little hot air into the bag and seal it. I place that on a plate on top of my T5 fixture in vegg and just wait. I have gotten 100% success from this when the seeds arent garbage or too old.

HOL's stuff is top notch hands down guys!!!

Right on GrownOut! I'm beginning to think the MM early germination issues were due to the seeds still being green, and less about thick shells.

Yes, please do make room for some Rez gear... would love to see how our lil 'ole strains stack up!

Yeah I am happy with the germination on them, I have seen seeds take longer so they seem to be at the perfect stage now. I will find out on the next 5, I staggered them to see how a little extra time effects the speed of germination to try and pin point what the issue was at the begining. All seems well over here and I should see some sprouts tonight if all goes well.

Big ups to HOL for letting me help test out some strains. I always got a spot for any of your gear testers or not I am very pleased with everyting I have seen. I also got 2 or more people on the other board buying several of your strains. I sold a few on the Blue Vixens and the SCT. I will keep pushing you guys and your strains. I have them already ready to buy some of the MM and Live Fire just from the descriptions and pics of the strains used to make the crosses and the info. lol Your seeds sell themselves imo.

I like the old Rez gear, not fond of the new stuff personally. Havent had good luck with the CSD's I got. I have some Williams Wonder IX-1's in there now (2 in coco still waiting on 2 to pop) and soon some Strawberrry Diesel. Thinking maybe one of them would be nice to cross with one of the two strains I will be testing for you guys.

OK as of today I got Midnight Madness #1 above soil, trippy its actually labeled #1 and happend to be the first to pop above ground. lol.

And for those who care I got 1 of the Williams Wonder IX-1's above ground now too. Still nothing from those last 2 seeds so gotta scuff those.

Edit: Make that 2 MM's above the ground now.

If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package.
