inodes..what are they and do I need to keep them?

mtbazz Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 839	inodes..what are they and do I need to keep them? recently had a hard drive fail. recovered much of the data on there using a data recovery program called "stellar phoenix"... this program generated over 130,000 individual files titled inodexxxxx (the x's stand for different numbers. Most of these are under 1kb in size. what are they and do i need to keep them?
