aod's "sadness" test grow
Hey, first off, I would like to thank festivus and red for getting this all together. Popped these a few days ago, straight coco flushed and precharded to about 300 ppm with just magi -cal. Just throwing these pics up now, havent slept since Saturday, and I rocked my crit today!
So out of the 11 I put into paper towels, 8 came up no problem, 2 are still in there, and one that some how managed to sneak its way out. Here they are, so pretty! Check out the double cotyledon! Had to pick the shell off this one. Ok, gonna pass out. Get more info up ASAP. AOD

Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package. |

HERE IT IS!
Oh man, festivus and red, sorry it has taken so long for me to get these up, but as we all know, life can sometimes get in the way.
So yea, as we all saw on johnnys plants, the stems are these things are fucking THICK. Haha and they made my whole basement stink. I never needed a carbon filter in veg, but it seems like I do now! My sense of smell is somewhat fucked up(sniffed one too many chemicals in my youth ), but they have a very, very piney/kushy smell to them. I know once things start to flower I will be able to give a much more reliable smell report. I can tell you though, if you even brush up against the stem of one of these babies, you are going to stink until you change clothes. So These ladies were grown under T-8s in veg for about 4 weeks. I did not top or anything, I did not want anything really limiting them, and I just wanted to see how they grow naturally. I grow a high plant number SOG stadium, and none of them really are branching too much, looks like they will be one main cola plants(hopefully). All the plants are pretty uniform in growth, as the pics show, three of them had a growth spurt the last week of veg, I am thinking these may be males, as that seems to happen with them IME. Oh yea, and out of the 11 beans I started, 2 never sprout, and one somehow lost its way out of the towel. SoI have 8 of thesebeautiful plants in flower now. These shots are right after transplant, and were put in flower at that time. I dont have the space in my veg tent to give them a few days recovery, which I think would help, but they will pick up after a a few days in flower. They always do. So yea, first shot is group, and then everyone after. Gonna get some more shots in flower prolly in a week or so. Hope every one likes it, and thanks so much to HOL, you guys are really the epitome of what this movement is really about; getting the best genetics to everyone at low costs. You both rock! Thanks for stopping by! KEep it green. aod
