what will be your legacy?
aside from material possessions that may be fought over, unappreciated or even squandered upon dissolution of your estate what lessons of life do you hope to pass on to your children or others you care about. What knowledge did your folks pass down to you? Will you pass on family stories from harder times, or might they be stories of familial success's during better times; are there any skills that you've taught, mentored or would like to? Once attained an education or knowledge can never be taken from a person, what do you know that you feel needs to be passed along? How and what do you want to be remembered for if anything at all. if you take away all the material things the only thing that are really left are your kids, grandkids and friends. i hope my legacy is a group of reasonably self sufficient, decent human beings with a good dose of common sense, a work ethic that will set them apart from the crowd and enough confidence in themselves to swim against the stream when they need too.

my children will pass on my legacy,my strains and my techniques.hopefully making improvements along the way.
they are far to young right now.but im already dreaming about tending the gardens with them...i want to teach them to respect this plant.tell them how much it helps me in my life. they are very young still and already know daddy is sick.once they understand that it is safe, and actually helps to heal me and in fact is what has kept me balanced for all these years i feel like they will be more than willing to learn. crosby stills and nash had it right. teach your children well! that is my legacy.who they become.what they take away from these year, from what good im able to teach them... i want them to be strong men.to believe in what is right and good. to not stand for injustice. i pray to GOD that they are able to face what is ahead of them. |

S4L, Buddy this topic is likely better suited for folks who aren't quite as private as us deviant potheads are.
I know that I will leave a legacy carved onto stone that will outlast my own children, and that when they look at my name in stone they will feel proud of their family name. But they will also remember that there is nothing worth sacrificing their own integrity for.

my legacy will be any and all information, material or electronic, that i leave behind. i see far ahead into the future, people excavating our great cities and finding cds everywhere, like archeologists of today find pottery shards.

I hope to become microbe food. We come from microbes, and will return to microbes some day to complete the cycle. Legacy is wishful ego centric thinking that won't make a bit of difference to the bacterias and fungus that will consume you...".scrappy

Your legacy can can continue on with your children ,or any new family which is created from your bloodline. But if you don't have kids ,or your siblings have kids and your family tree ends.
Well then you have to ask yourself 1 question....... "Have you ever done anything in your life that means something?" Not buying things ,not living well..having fun ..or having money..... Something that makes a difference? Or a huge impact on others? Well i haven't...but i don't despair....In the next 20 years ,im going to have make every effort ,to live life to its fullest .And do things i can't now because of certain limiations..And thats enough to keep me happy.
