Sour Cindy in the House of Love

So glad to finally be getting started with flowering this run. Big thanks to Red and Festivus for building the House of Love and for putting the plant before the money. Respect!! May many more follow this example!

Well, I had some unforseen circumstances recently and am restarting from seeds this run. I lost a some really nice cuts I'd been keeping and had to chop a lot early. Shitty, but I love popping seeds and don't run many clones anyway.

I threw down five Sour Cindy's and wound up with two girls. They've been really vigorous, fast growers for me, second only to the SSH x NLA in growth. I've been bumping their feed up steadily and they just keep coming back for more. They're nice and healthy....ready to turn it on and show their true colors.

So six weeks from seed, vegged first under CFL's, then around 1600 watts, stacked vertically.

Sour Cindy A profile

I topped this plant, assuming her to be a male due to her height and vigor. She's all girl and got her own screen so I can manage her branching. I usually train most of my plants this way, but wasn't able to veg my usual 10-12 weeks, so most are just getting pinched back as needed. I've done a lot less leaf plucking, too.

I'll get a couple full garden shots tonight so you can see what we're dealing with and the company they're keeping.

Beautiful! I love tall, well stacked girls!

Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package.

Especially when they smell sweet and tangy. It's a lovely mix of C99/fruit and sour funk on both these girls so far. Peace Fest!

I love the airpots....and I'm not a sucker for every latest thing, either. They really do completely change the root structure of the plant, spreading it throughout the pot..no circling or tangling.

Here's a shot after all the loose coco is shaken off after the chop:

See what I mean? They just work..

Tried to get an OK group shot of the flowering plants--please forgive the lights being on, it's just to give an idea of what's going on.

That's a Sour Cindy in the bottom right corner......it's getting crowded now as the stretch kicks in. Luckily there are some massive males in those back corners that will come out soon enough................

Plants are looking lush and green. It had been quite humid 'round here and I stuck the dehuey in there during lights out to get the girls to drink more. Higher humidity seems to help during the stretch, but it needs to be accompanied by higher temperatures or else transpiration slows way down and they won't get enough nutrition. 60-65% humidity now and temps around 74F with the lights off. Runs about 77F with lights on. Peace everybody!

That is amazing dude. I definitely going to order a couple different sets in different sizes as soon as I got the money. Those results speak for themselves, I run coco also so its good to know they work well with it too.

Garden is looking awesome dude!!!!! Going to be packed with dank soon.

Good afternoon, Red Pasketti...glad to see you here, bro

I'm loving the garden right now. I put the blumats on the shelf for now...it's more fun handwatering and getting up in the girls business every day. I think blumats are as easy and simple as a drip system could be, but they can be tricky when you run multiple strains out of one res. Forces you to run lower ppm's when some strains want more....I'll bust 'em out if I need to leave town, etc.
