Thanks for the soil mix, how does the Urkle x Fire taste? I got 3 of the Urkle cross without the Reservation Labs in there. What happened to Reservations Labs?

Erkle is barely dried and a good 3+ weeks before real taste develops in my opinion, but tastes good and is smooth. 2nd Erkle is mostly purple center and white hairs, frostier and looks very nice. Seems different pheno, but similar structure. Still yields ok for a small plant, but will veg longer next time. Not as potent as the Humbolt Kush which we both like alot and down to last bowl sadly. Lots of Blue Kush(Blue Santa x Humbolt Kush) seeds so expect fire there.
The soil mix hopefuly works out great as I expect with such a list of great ingredients with the Bloom booster containing some great stuff like feather meal, fish bone meal, alfalfa meal, seaweed and kelp with other goodies. I am now trying some different soil drainage called Growstone soil aerator and there larger hydroponic stones for the bottom. Are recycled silica(glass) and very multifaceted and look very good as well as hurts pests. Supposed to have a higher air to water ratio than perlite though costs more. I will try and recycle as much as I can. Will keep posted on results when I can. SR

hi speedracer I would be very carefull with anything with glass in it you can get little spinters in your skin or worst yet if it poofs up a little cloud like perlite does when its being poured you sure don't want to be breathing that .wear a respirator if you have one even those cheap dust masks are better than nothing .gloves for your hands to would not be out of order.

what happened with the reservation labs urkle his ex-wife made was I got 4 females and one plant did not come up so I was not able to make more pure erkles if that's what your asking .if your asking what happened to him he lost his property and has not had much luck finding a new home last I knew anything about him . hopefully by now he has joined the employed and is getting it back together . aloha cls

hi speedracer as a side note erkle was never about mind blowing pot it was about the taste .I never could figure out why people paid so much for it ,there are other shitty yielding strains that are far stoner and have unique tastes that never commanded the price people paid for it at those pot shop gold mines that sprung up all over cali .I think it maybe was a status thing that got played to shear the unknowing from their money . aloha cls

Thanks for the input and agree I should wear a mask. I have dust masks for when I mix. Just mixed a little other day and used no mask, dumb, and with guanos which I heard can be harmful too. There was dust in the growstones bag and rinsed before useing. The aerostones look similar to volcano rock but smaller pieces. I think I'll look at it under my scope. Doesn't hurt the hands to rub it though may be damage on a smaller level.
Thanks for the Erkle and hoping for a grape taste in cure or the 2nd one which looks different. The Humbolt Kush is a very nice buzz and taste with 1 bowl left saved for later.

Fire in the hole

I wanted to let you all know that I started a thread in grow diaries titled Hangin' out with Speed. Some basic show and tell with some pics when able. Very thankful for Classic allowing me to share here and think time should start a thread as got some real nice stuff working, though minimal amounts, the quality should be and is fantastic. So much still to learn and hope to share some of my breedings etc. Any Classic strains I use will be shown here when I can such as the Thai Gold C99 Romulan and looking very nice with one very nice branch of Blue Thai(Blue Santa x Classics Thai hybrid above). Hope all the best for all you. peace... SR

hi speedracer anyone who wants to post pictures of their classic seeds gardens are always welcome and I am greatfull for every posting people do of strains they are growing even if they are combos like your blue santa x classic thai hybrid its all good .I don't care if people make their own seeds or use them to make totally new types of cross's to me god is the only one who owns earth and everything in its natural domain.watch the hell out monstanto he or she or what ever it is does not like you monkeying with natural perfection and will bite you in the ass when you least exspect it for playing with the building blocks of life .trust me karma is a bitch when the wheel gets to people like you .aloha cls

Absolutely amazing how many many different species of animals, insects, fish etc that are here on Earth and why look for aliens and life so far away when it surrounds us everywhere. Mary Jane also has been around for who knows how long and with sooo many varieties. Breeding has been used to get the best out of anything, plant or animal for ages. Very incredible to create new hybrids that are never before creations and very thankful to be a part.
The Blue Thai bud is only 2 inches from the side hanging T5 bloom for extra inside light and see the popcorn pop and lovin' it. Definitely got to get pics soon of her and now about 8+ weeks. Got 2- 300 watt cfls on the huge Thai top back side for even more light.
Have a ChocThai(Chocolate Rain x Classics Thai hybrid) just started bloom and a girl and hope to start a Purple Thai(Humbolt Purple x Classics Thai) soon. peace... SR

A friend of mine sexed this cross for me and I have clones of all the females. Here is one of them at day 22, frosty and stinky already:

Oops, I forgot to mention this is Classic's Afgooie x Purpurea Tensinesus...
