What are you feeding them. I know you said organic soil, but are you adding anything? Looks like too much N to me. It's not real bad, but I would back off the juice.

That leaf curl could be from too many nutes, or watering too often, or soaking medium too much. Perhaps either cut-back on quantity of ingoing water or cut-back on frequency of watering...but without all the details of the grow, tiz a guess.

Is that the size of screen you're going to use...? What strain is that? Sativa's and sativa dominates work best for this, as an indica isn't nearly as flexible nor leggy as the sativa's. Can still be done, just with quite a bit less stretch, of course.

Below is a Wall of Green I tried with GN Landrace Thai*.
The first pix are 2 weeks into flower, the last is 3 months into flower. Two Thai plants in two five gallon pots, 1000w HPS. *note to self...Thai is a bitch indoors.

The screen is concrete mesh (strengthens concrete) that I cut, bent and fastened to the shed wall. The squares are 6" x 6".

Best not to weave the plants in-n-out of the screen, or you lose mobility. (can't move the plants around) These plants were about 6or 7 feet tall (almost 4 feet actual height) when nearing harvest, and the branches were wound back-n-forth, and lightly twist-tied to the screen, which has about a 1" gap between the wall and the screen.

I kept 4 main lateral branches (plus the topped mainstem(s) and had problems keeping the lateral branches from the lateral branches, tamed. Took a bunch of trimming and tucking.

If you need to move the plant, don't miss any twist-ties when untying the plant from the screen. Just one oversight can cost you a major branch or two...

Worked-out fairly good, but took a LOT more room than I thought they would. I sorta forgot that I would need access to them throughout the grow, which is a pain in the ass if growroom is full.

hey bobble thanks for dropping in. Im using G.H. flora series for the first time so could b. i havent really got my feeding down pat yet. As far as additiives only a lil lime in the soil and it's not a hot mix. just a local co that mixes its on "organic" blend. it was that or M.G. The girls r in a 6'X6' room that has a 6" vortex pulling thru the ceiling venting into the attic space. lights r a bare bulb 1000 hps and a bare bulb 600 hps. the truth is this is my first real indoor attempt and im probaly in over my head already. lights on temp of 80f to 84f , lights off 70 to 75 unless i forget to turn the heater on. Its starting to get cold here and my grows in my shed in case ur wondering. completely separate from my home.

hey Rusty Trich, thanks for stopping by and for the tips. yeah I already realized the screens were a lil small so i took my snips and carefully opened some of the holes up already. I already had the green fence from my outdoor grows. (alot of deer in my area, and they love fresh green mary jane!!) i kinda tried to copy marlows individual scrog screens for each plant. it seems to work ok, at least their will b plenty to attach string or zip ties too if i ever get some budz going on. The strains r BC Bud Depot the Purps and BC Blueberry. the smaller plants r a mix of seeds im growing out to c what i like. i have a couple batches of clones to throw in after I figure out which is gonna b the better smoke. Anyway ill get some more photos up and maybe u guys can help me get this figured out..

any ??'s, comments, just fire em away.

Bobble how do i post the big pics like u did above, instead of the small thumbnail pics? thanks again Bobble and thanks for stoppin by.

If you are interested on your next run you can make some screens like mine.

They can be moved by just popping the tops loose and swinging them out. The plants sit on the bottoms to keep the screen in place and they are tied back to the screen instead of weaving through them.

It looks like too much nitrogen to me too, you'll need to reduce your nitrogen intake straight away, especially when your plants are near finished stretching because it can make your buds airy and smaller, it also adds to stretching.

Leaves that curl down like that, and the deep green colour are sure signs of too much N, if you don't reduce your nitrogen your yields will suffer, I've been down that road and it aint pretty lol.

Besides for that, your grow is looking great, I really like how you've trained your plants, they look in good shape.

To put a large picture into your post you need to open the album that is located on your page right beside the visitor messages, go into your album, click on the picture that you want to add to your post and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see 2 links, you want the link that says "BB Code", copy it and put it into your post.

Look how deep green and glossy the leaves are, and the amount of leaf vs bud this is in a worse state than your OG, you have a good week to sort it out before the buds start forming properly so I think you'll be fine if you act now. Your plants will tell you when they are happy. BTW the rest of your plants look in perfect health, it's just that OG that's being hit.

Hope that helps.

Hey Ichabod, cool screens man. i like the way the plants weight supports the screens, and the fact that ur's are removable. Mine started out that way, they r like 16"X48" and i ended up kinda weaving the plants thru em and had to eventually make some of my holes bigger. The original idea was to have a screen that the plant grows thru for support. They can b tilted forward or backward or also raised and lowered by adjusting the supports.( Its just hard to see in my pics. the arms are kinda overgrowed.)

Hey HGO, i appreciate any help u could throw at me. im all new to indoor but am pretty good at figuring things out. Where im from everybody grows a lil outdoors in the summer but the rest of the year its no weather for what we like to grow:plant grow: also this is my first time with any kind of nutrient other then a lil miracle gro. the big girl's r in 6 gal planters, and i've been watering about every three days or so. i water nutrients, then just straight water. so say in 6 days they usually get fed once and watered once. does that make sense. ive only been useing flora bloom at about 900 ppm with some epsom salt, and sometimes i add some super thrive and some H2O2 if its handy. my water after setting for 24hrs is right at 50ppm and ph 6.1. right before i flipped though i was giving them grow/bloom together to load up for flowering. I guess that was a bad idea ? Oh and before i forget u saying things look great makes me feel a lot better about this go around already.:thank you: here's another pic. im gonna take some new shots of my rooms and some other stuff for u guys to look later. I need some feedback on what im doing wrong and what can b improved, cause i know theirs plenty of room for improvement and learning. thanks again everybody:wave:

plants look good, dont want to sound critical but i think you need wider screens and tie all the branches to the screens, trim leaves off and let more buds form like marlo did, eliminate small brances and larf bud.

Hey joesy, thanks for stoppin in. yeay bigger screens would b nice but my room is only 6ft by 6ft, so its kinda full as it is. As far as trimminig off larf and small branches i had planned on waiting a little bit longer? They have been 12/12 for only about 12 or 13 days. I've been plucking a few fan leaves here and there and have removed quite a few lower, sucker branches and stuff behind the screens. But if u really think i should do a better trim and shape then im all for it. like i said this is all new territory to me, so any advice is welcome.

sublime you can spread the bigger branches by shoving a stack into your pot at an angle and tying the branches over like this.

Also you can tuck some of the leaves back through the screen like this.

Make a hook from a pipe cleaner and pull the leaf stem back through the screen. This will open the buds up to the light a little more with out damaging the plant.

well i would remove alot more of the fan leaves and let more light into those buds, i know alot of people say not to remove them but the whole idea of a vert scrogg is to spread the plant out and get more buds, I hope Marlo stops by and gives his opion on this as he really thought up this vert scrogg deal.

:yeahthats I agree remove what is in the way of the flower sites by tucking them back and by spreading the branches out. if you still have a lot in the way clip them off.

Morning everybody, thanks for the advice guys. i see alot more leaves on the floor today after work. (I'll post up some pics later and u guys tell me what else to trim) I've just been doing a lil here and there but if u guys think a big chop is in order then so be it. I just dont want to screw these girls up wit a bad hair cut u know.

Anyway thanks for stopping in joesy and Ichabod. Yeah i wouldnt mind hearing from marlowe either considering i built my screens after reading some of marlowe's stuff on vert scrog. But keep in mind guys this is my first indoor run period. Thanks for the help guys.

Sub belive me for the first run indoors your plants look good, its just if your doing a vert scrogg you have to use the screens to widen the plant and max the full potintial of the scrogg concept, as is now i dont see you utilizing your screens. get rid of those light blocking fan leaves , spread and tie the branches to the screen, let those buds get light.

I hear ya Joesy, and to prove it i just cut a shit ton of fans and suckers off the girls. I'll post up the pics in just a sec..
