got my seed.boo order in today and was happy to see a freebie pak of sweet tooth#3

who is the breeder on the swt#3s ?
how does it compare to soft's current swt#4

Hey man, a few people have gotten these and it's welcome news for many. Sweet Tooth #3 was the version before #4 and had the same father as Swt #4 there is tons of information on the forum about the #3 although it was more prone to mold in many cases and not all the plants were as frosty & sweet as the #4 many were more spicy even but there definitely were some great plants to be found. These Swt #3 freebies are originals that were "seconds" and sent to Gypsy from Breeder Steve to be handed out as freebies. We have now found out that Clarence in fact found a stash of them in the seedbay vault by rare chance and they have not been made for many years now by SOL. Although some are popping up, the germ rates are very low as expected for beans going on a decade old that have crossed borders several times now already to get to growers. I am very much looking forward to seeing these grown out and hopefully some epic progency made with some males out of the Swt #4 IBL's or vice versa if people have the beans to work with. We must preserve these genetics for future generations to enjoy.

I got the number 3 as freebies about 4 or 5 yrs ago now... I didn't keep any clones or males around to make seed with. I was super excited to grow these number fours out... This time i made more then enough seed an kept some of the original #4 beans on deck... Since it is an ibl and all the beans I've grown out been pretty uniform would it be worth it to grow out lots of beans...

Seeds are where the magic is at man

Unlimited possibilities after you man-up and just do a nice sized seed run because after that it's all smooth frosty sweet days ahead once seeds are plentiful

It's definitely worth it to grow out several seeds after making more of your own if at all possible and remember in the IBL seed packs they came from multiple parents so their offspring will certainly have many more possible genetic recombinations within the same pool of potential traits.

I really want to see some Swt #3 x Swt #4 action out there for maximum boost
