I thought my struggle to get some Sweet Tooth was over when I got some freebies of both Blue Sat 2.2 and Sweet Tooth #4 5 seeds each. Well the Blue satelite gave me a He/she with the only one of three that survived and he was a twisted looking SOB. Two of he ST#4"s were female with one having a twisted leaf thing going and the other looking perfect. I did start two New York city diesel x AK 48 (cherry pheno) for a backup male and that is what I used to pollinate the 2 ST#4's, a Power Cheese and another Cherry Diesel. Looking forward to running the test in the future. I only popped three of the Sweet tooth seeds and one was so twisted looking I ditched it so no male there. In the future I will germ the last two Sweet tooth's and breed my diesel sweet cross back into it when the cool comes back around.

well the seeds are maturing along nicely. all the males look to have died(they are all a banana yellow), but are still in the bed. i'll do one last pollen collection after i chop them this weekend.
the girls aren't producing anymore calyxes and seeds are visible in a few that are splitting open. i'm excited. they smell wonderful. i hope that whoever wants a pack gets them, as i'll be sending them into the serverfund. |

Neither of my SWT#4 females were leafy like yours, more of a indica/sat cross with big fans. As to saving pollen it will last 6 months in the refrigerator and a couple years if frozen. The trick is to do a container inside a container thing so you can take out only the pollen you need. It won't be any good if refrozen. Small test tubes inside a large jar works nicely for me. I used to use 35mm film canisters but those days are gone. Let it reach room temperature and dry for a bit then use a paint brush to pollinate with.

i just picked a seed out of a split open calyx halfway down the main stem. so i don't think it'll be too much longer. the end of the month, max.
dr.redwhite, the fan leaves on my keeper were huge, i had to prune a few to keep them away from the light. i like your ideas, but i'm going to substitute plastic straws and pipe cleaners instead of test tubes and pain brushes since i have them already. |

i chopped last wednesday.
i'm getting a lot of immature seeds, they could have gone another week.(edit - my bulb burned out the next day it felt like the movie blues brothers when the car fell apart at the end) i'll still have hundreds of seeds though. the ratio is pretty close to 1:1 the top of the keeper dried out and i lost a lot of seeds from that as well. it looks like heat stress, but the light didn't move and the plant didn't move. so i missed a watering and didn't even know i did. or she just drank more than i expected and i missed it. |

just got done sorting seeds. and the numbers are in!
24.13g of seeds average from 3 random samples is 42 seeds per gram comes out to just over 1,000 seeds. and this is after i've given a few away and kept what i wanted. sorting seeds on fathers day sure makes me feel like a proud papa. |

Same thing happened to me. Looked lie budrot in the top bud. I also think I over pollinated by leaving the male in too long and this caused many immature seeds. I came out with maybe 150 Sweet tooth x Cherry diesel seeds, more than I will ever use.
