Hello friends and fam of SOTF! THought I'd start a new thread on a cross I just made of SOTF420's Sweet #4 ibl salad toppers

I used 3 different sweet 4 males in this cross one of wich was a nice big juicy and citrusy reverse hermy male wich could be something or nothing... But from what i've read they are rare and have some great breading traits. The pollination of this Cj plant was open, so i'm not too sure wich bean is from wich male, but the beans I did get are healthy and tiger striped just like the sweet 4's

My Casey Jones has a flowering time of 9-10 weeks, and a MAJOR stretcher. I was looking to bring down the flowering time by a week maybe, and add a bit mroe resin, and less stretch to my CJ. Guess we will swee what happens! I have also saved pollen from all 3 males so I can backcross and make some changes to the progeny. This is my 1st cross and not too sure what's about to happen, but I fell with the parents chosen this should be alright to say the least

That Cj definately get's friggin huge. That plant gave me a dried nugget that weighed 34 grams

I'm also hoping to bring some of that diesel funk my Cj cut has to the sweet4....that would be yummy...drooling.... lol anyway, peace and much love! Stagger

I have only got about 100 beans of this right now, i'll be dusting my current Cj in flower with more sweet 4 pollen i've got saved if it's still viable... But then I will definately be sending them off to the bay! Also after 18 hours in a wet paper towel, my 1st salad topper germd~!

4 sure man! Havin a bit o' trouble wit my macro lens for some reason or another, but once I figure that out i'll post up some pics of these organic salad toppers

Also 2 of the lil beans popped their taproots today while I was at work!

The possibilities are titilating ()() __________________ Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package.
