C99vs Odins Hammer vs Red Congolese vs Senor Garcia
ok so i was pretty much decided on ordering the C99 until i found out about these reeferman sativas... ive narrowed it down to these few since they got a similar price to the C99 F2's i wanted (and the love potion 6 packs aare apparently not available), so anyone who has tried some of these trains post yourthoughts as far as potency, headiness, and ease of growth... i am looking for the usual "trippiest sativa high" out of these few, so far i got my eye on the odins hammer from what ive read

Forget the odins hammer, hermis have been reported by many growers of it.

I really wasn't impressed with the Odins. I had to pick at 10 weeks because it had started throwing out major bananas at about 7 weeks and by ten weeks not only was the odins heavily seeded but everything else in my garden was at least partially seeded. At ten weeks the potency was weak at best and the taste and appearance was nothing to write home about. I had some of the original seeds left so I'm giving it one more run but at the first sign of nanners i'm ripping it out. Reeferman has a ton of very interesting strains, I'd look at some of the others and put Odins at the bottom of any list. To say I was disapointed would be an understatement, this is not a criticism of reef in any way, I've seen many nice pics of many of his strains but just about every post about Odins mentions hermies. Me, i'd yank it out of the line up.

Try Apple Pie or Willie Nelson.

I would also recommend you skip the Odin. I did it, had hermies ( I dunno, I was actually stoked that I got some (very mostly immature) seeds cuz I thought maybe the cannabinoid profile might move more toward a psycadelic high ( something I've about from old timers )but neither of my(only)2 females were very impressive, although my hermie pheno was still enjoyable to me, even if it's nice qualities were a bit subtle. Before I got thoroughly used to it, I'd get a nice actively heady high that was kickass to bike around on. But it just wasn't very strong. First smoke of the day and a 1/4 gram doob will get ya nicely high, but after a previous (and stronger) weed it wouldn't cut through.
Senior Garcia sounds dreamy but it also sounds like a pain in the ass for not a lot of bud. Still , if you are willing to put the effort into low-yielding finicky sativas I'd love to see the report ![]() I'd personally (and quite possibly just might) do the red congo for sure. The pics I've seen on Reeferman are awesome, and RM has raved about this strain I think.. Now that I think about it Potent purple is as cheap as the Red Congo and I've heard great things regarding the high. Something to consider... Last edited by speedyweedy; 02-18-2006 at 03:55 AM.. |
