Currently have a few Kali Mist growing, differant pheno's also.

They are 4 pluss weeks into flower, they suffered from low temps for a bit but thats sorted now.
Got some foxtailing going on already, more pic's in my album.

Still my favourite all round Sativa, this is a 10+ year old clone, zero difference to the 2 packs I have bought in the last few years.

I have chatted to Simon about the Kali and believe exactly what he says, he is a man of integrity and not a liar. He said they changed it, the change was not popular, so they went back to the old recipe, I believe all the nonsense about how it "changed" is just BS from rivals trying to sell inferior strains.

Kali Mist is still the benchmark Sativa, there is a little Indica in there, but it's effects are on yield and flowering time, other pure Sativas have more "Indica effect" in the smoke than Kali, IMO.

2 small buds, one with a damaged stem, RHS

Lovely buds CC,in the outdoors too.
I agree, while others are good, the Kali is the fire and one of the best Sat's available.

how did they went back to the old recipe ? the last time i have checked changes in their strains lineage was when some of their mothers/fathers rooms been busted....and later a new version of kali mist hit the market but not as good as the original.

it will be cool if we can know if kali mist has some greenhouse/mr nice: nevil and shantibaba genetics in it but i can suppose easily each one of their strains has it in their pedigree. skunk, northern light, haze, big bud, white widow what else a bit of african landrace maybe ? and some good old king arjan feminized asian sativas ?
it can be very confusing all these hiden informations really....

Not really, from what I know the same Kali mother was used in all offerings.
So its not hard to understand at all.

peace.
