Strawberry Diesel better than ECSD?
anybody else feel this way?
to me, when it comes down to potency, smell/flavor, and yield, strawberry diesel wins every time for me. powerful introspective high. has my mind racing and body relaxed for hours off 1-2 tokes( i only use cannabis 3-4 times a week). great for after a long day at work. refreshes me more than a shower and a hot meal! ECSD has better bag appeal IMO and a more popular name around here. sells itself really well but Strawberry D is getting better feedback from my legal patients and in the end....that's all that matters. |

i could be wrong cause i over fertilized last crop but dsd doesnt seem that vigorous of a strain. dont get me wrong it grows good but it doesnt seem like a monster yielder. i cant make my final decision until next crop but i got 13 different female phenos growing as mothers right now after the crop from seed didnt go well after i got the claw from them not being able to handle that much nutes plus fungas gnats and root rot. i grew them next to blubonic, hindu kush, and swt 3 and the dsd were the smallest on the tray. next crop im gonna take a few clones off of my 13 different phenos and see how it goes next crop. i need to narrow it down to 1 or 2 moms. dont get me wrong though the weed is off the chain! im only talking about yield cause i thought they were monster yielders. i hope im proven wrong next crop cause i love the strain. is it just me or can this strain barely handle any nutes?

I don't think the DSD is known for being a big yielder. ECSD and the various crosses have always seemed to yield fairly well.
@ Reddy1- Which Strawberry D are you running and how is the yield on it compared to your ECSD?

oooo really? tell you the truth thats why i bought it. is the strawberry cough not that big of a yielder cause i was under the impression that they were huge yielders cause im pretty sure the sour diesel ibl is right?

I think SD IBL is better than ECSD. I'm growing a bunch of both and the IBL is way better yield, sturdier plant, earlier finisher, real SOUR smell and look. If I took pics of the ripe tops of the IBL and the ECSD most wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Of the 9 ibls I have from seed 5 are very sour dominant. |
