Aero Cloner EZ-Cloner Materials:


1) 10-31+ Gallon Rubbermaid Bin
(Depending on Your Cloning Needs/ #'s)
(Some Tote's Leak Water-Luckily my 18 Gal. "RoughNeck" Doesn't

)


12.5 Gallon (50 Qt.)-10 Gallon Tote


This is a Nice 22 Gallon Tote w/Locking Handles (Handles are an Important Feature!!)
Personally, I Used the 18 Gallon 'ROUGHNECK'

It Nicely Fits x24 Un-Cramped 2" Insert/Sites with Space to Spare!!
-1 Spot (So x23 Spaces) For Pump Plug)


Having the Wire Passing Through Lid is a PAIN-IN-THE-ASS!! Everytime (4 Runs) I Lift The Lid (OFTEN, TRYING to Monitor the Water) The Wire Pulls The Pump Out of Place and Disturbs Everything, I Broke Several Stems Because of These!!

So, I Going to Re-Locate The Pump Wiring, Into the Bin Itself...


My Drill's Battery was Died...So It was Quicker (Than Charging Battery) to Do It By Hand...

Just a Quick Cardboard Stencil, Sharpie,


and Exacto Knife...

2) Pump (300- 633+ Gph)

More Pressure (Gph) Better Atomization (Atomization = CLONES!!) (Cons: Bigger Producers More Heat)



3) Neoprene Inserts (1-3")

They Can br Easy Found on Ebay...
The EZ Clone Inserts are Thicker, However, They are a Smaller Diameter...
(I.E. 2" Ez Clone Inserts are 1 7/8")

These Yellow Pucks I Picked This Time, Are Thinner & Thicker Diameter (2" OD- Very Nice and Fit Snugly in 1 3/4" Cut Outs'

They Come in ALL KINDS OF COLORS!!
(Its Not My Ebay Auction, But Heres It Is
(He Sent me 64 Total Inserts) And You Can Pick Your Colors /or Even Miss-Match Them
They're the Best and Cheapest (Price Wise) on Ebay!!

Making the Cut Outs for the Neoprene Inserts:
I Drill the Holes a Bit Smaller, For a Nice Snug Neoprene Fit!!


(I.E. For 2" Inserts- I Drilled (Hole-saw Bits) 1 3/4")



These New Yellow Neoprene Inserts Fit Great!!

Always Drill a Hole That is 1/4" Smaller Than Whatever Insert/Puck Size You Decide on
'SNUG

Fit is Way Better That Loose, Especially in THIS Case!!)

4) Schedule 40 PVC Pile & Fittings

x4 -1/2" - L's
x3 -1/2" - Tees'
x1 Ten Ft. Stick of Schedule 40 (Even 6 Foot Is Fine- But Its Sold in 10 Ft Lengths, CHEAP!!)
x1 *1/2" Conduit Connector/Male Threaded End

*Typically Lots of Fittings are Included with the Pump, However This 1/2" Conduit Connector/Male Threaded End, IS NOT Included!!

To Cut the Pipe/Conduit:
Use Your Favorite Device, Hack-Saw-Reciprocating-PVC Cutter

For My Size Tote, I Needed...

x2- 14"
x2- 6.5"
x4- 2.75"
x1- 2" (Pipe That Will be the Distance Between the Manifold/Top of Pump) (Bottom Middle Pic#2)

Drill Out the PVC/Fittings to Install 'Replacement' Misters/Sprayers:

Wherever You Your Misters Installed, Drill out 11/32" Drill Bit Holes...

Then For a Nice Fit, Its Wise to Thread the Holes with a 10/32" Tap (Prevents Stripping Out the PVC -Which is ALREADY, WAY Too Easy )



However the Tap is NOT Necessary...

Just Dill the 11/32" Holes, Then Use a Mister and Gently Push and Twist...Until the Hole Threads!!
(Like I Said, PVC 'Strips Out' Too Easy- Which Also Means It Can be Threaded By Hand w/Plastic Mister)


Time to Assemble the Manifold:

Simply Push All Pieces Together...The Sched 40 Fit VERY Tight Too!!

NO NEED FOR GLUE....FACT You Want to be Able to Take Them Apart to Clean...


-Top of Your Manifold/Misters Should be 10"-12" From Bottom of Lid!!


6)Rooting Hormone's:
Personally I Use Dip 'N Grow, However I Like to Experiment With Clone-X Gel's Ect....They ALL Seem to Work Well!!

Dip 'n Grow...Is Pricey, But IMO, One of the Best Root Horni's!!

Some Helpful Extras: (Not Necessary Items, But ALL Helpful)

C.A.P. NFT-1E Timer

(Works Awesome, But I Doubt Most People Would Want to Spend $60 on One!!)

Its a "Preset" Timer, Meaning the Only Setting/Program is 1 min. On /4 Mins. Off

That Prevents Newly Cut Stems/Roots From Being Constantly Being Bombarded with Mist/Water
Its Gives Them a Little Chance You Get More O2 to Your Root Zone Too!!

The O2 Helps to Prevent Damping Off/ Fungus

Plus, This Prevents the Pump from Getting Too Hot Which is Enough to Drastically the Effects of the Reservoirs Water Temps.
-If so Just Add More Water

TRY Too Keep Your Temps as Consistent as Possible...

Shoot For an Ambient Temp (Above Lid) 70-75 Degrees F and 65-75% Relative Humidity
Keep, Water Temps Cool...70-72 Degrees F
(Some-Times If It Gets Hotter I Toss in Some Ice Cubes...

MOST Diseases and Fungi Die Under 72 Degrees!!

Do's-And-DOMES:

I Try Not to Use my Humidity Dome...However, Sometimes For the First Couple Days, Its Needed...

The Cuttings Will Tell You" When They Need the Extra Humidity...

But My Goal is to Get Them 'Hardened Off' A.S.A.P.!!

The Cloner Will Keep Most Strains/Phenos From Wilting...

I Try to Keep the Dome OFF as Much as Possible!!

I Like to Use x2 - 26Watt CFL's or One 42Watt CFL (All 6500K DayLight Brite!!)

Now I Just Try to Keep the Keep the Atmosphere Ideal, and....Just.....Wait.... .....

This is assuming you have or can borrow all the tools needed. I think a hole saw that size is under $20.

11/32" are way to big... the sprayers would go right thru, I used 11/64
