I have a dream.

I lately stumbled upon a privately token-care-of "patch of forest" and it made me dream away for a while.

The owner had cleaned his forest on a way that in a regular pattern, big trees were left standing all over the place at maybe 30 to 50 meter distance intervalls.

It had opened up the whole of the forest floor to light and enabled lots of anuals, perrenials and grasses to flourish well inbetween the large trees.

I could imagine vast areas of it to be token care of this way, enabling various animals of all kinds to inhabit the area while keeping it clean from young trees poking up their heads.

The lower vegetation would add biomass to the area over time, and build up a more fertile layer as that the parasitic, densely grown "industrial" trees could ever achieve.

I saw a bit of paradise in this realisation, and ofcourse the hemp plant was not excluded from this pitoresque imaginary habitat either.

It also made me realise how well all this "token-care-of" land could serve a purpose to create Guerilla Gardens of any kind, including vegetables, fruit trees and berry baring shrubbery by easely fencing them off and adding some dung.

Ah well, maybe some day, when a financial crisis makes us leave no other choise as to investigate in what our land realy has to offer, other then paper pulp, hake and some perverted fun to sporter/hunts men from down south to come and get their annual trophees gained through high tec gadgets, oversized weaponry and armee style mobile equipment ?

Ah, I'll leave it like this, besides, I was just dreaming anyways.

Cow Civics

FEUDALISM:
You have two cows. Your lord takes some of the milk.
FASCISM:
You have two cows. The government takes both, hires you to take care of them, and sells you the milk.
PURE COMMUNISM:
You have two cows. Your neighbors help you take care of them, and you all share the milk.
APPLIED COMMUNISM:
You have two cows. You have to take care of them, but the government takes all the milk.
DICTATORSHIP:
You have two cows. The government takes both and shoots you.
MILITARISM:
You have two cows. The government takes both and drafts you.
PURE DEMOCRACY:
You have two cows. Your neighbors decide who gets the milk.
REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY:
You have two cows. Your neighbors pick someone to tell you who gets the milk.
AMERICAN DEMOCRACY:
The government promises to give you two cows if you vote for it. After the election, the president is impeached for speculating in cow futures. The press dubs the affair “Cowgate”. The cow sues you for breach of contract.
EUROPEAN DEMOCRACY:
You have two cows. At first the government regulates what you can feed them and when you can milk them. Then it pays you not to milk them. After that it takes both, shoots one, milks the other and pours the milk down the drain. Then it requires you to fill out forms accounting for the missing cows.
CAPITALISM:
You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull.
TOTALITARIANISM:
You have two cows. The government takes them and denies they ever existed. Milk is banned.

COUNTERCULTURE:
Wow, dude, there’s like…these two cows, man. You have *got* to have some of this milk.

If I understood this right then now they are not allowed to kill off more reindeer because of human rights issues?

If this has now become a precedent towards preservation of reindeer for human interest then the same precedent will have to count for the preservation of cannabis too.

Or can anyone explain me why that should not be the case?
