I've had it before aswell and after research and also taste test what I came to find is something called Guttation, and what your seeing is a sap exudate.... At night, transpiration usually does not occur because most plants have their stomata closed. When there is a high soil moisture level, water will enter plant roots, because the water potential of the roots is lower than in the soil solution. The water will accumulate in the plant, creating a slight root pressure. The root pressure forces some water to exude (most oftenly) through special leaf tips or edge structures, hydathodes, forming drops. Root pressure provides the impetus for this flow, rather than transpirational ascent. This sap exudate can be clear, tan, brown or even blood red(The red colour is due to haematin compounds and anthocyanin pigments that naturally build up in some varieties; The red colour may also indicate a nutrient deficiency, notably of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, or magnesium) This sap usually contains a variety of organic and inorganic compounds, mainly sugars, and mineral nutrients, and potassium.

I quoted most of that, but in lamens what I can explain is it was often found in plants that were given more sugars then they could handle and thus they literally push it out in a sap form. Thats also why it has such a sweet taste.

I remember thinking I was some super grower who uncovered some secret. Live, grow, and learn.

Unknown.

Oh and how can I forget...GREAT LOOKING PLANTS! I have a friend chucking some of Rev. Cherry something, could be cherry bomb aswell. Regardless great grow she looks lovely.

I know Nomaad was working with some Chunky Cherry Malawi earlier this year but don't know what happened to those babies. REv hasn't put out any 'Cherry' stuff recently other than the CCM's. He has done Cherry Thai, from land race Thai, and Cherry Malawi, from Malawi obtained from a farmer who cultivated it in southern Malawi, using the same Cherry Bomb dad.

Seriously though hope you're doing OK and glad to see the crosses you're making get out there. This one looks and sounds great! Did you save some beans for me? After many years of doing nothing looks like I'll be getting a new gig together and maybe try out a few of your crosses outdoors. I'll get back to if if that all comes together.

REv did not cross Thai to Affwreck from what I know. I heard there's a Cherry Thai going around and I don't think is REv's if that's the case. He doesn't care for Trainwreck much and has made only one cross with that...I think.

I'm doing good, still recovering from surgery but I'm getting there! I have some beans for you but you better claim them quick, they are almost all gone! I only have a little Cherry Cake and Orange Goo. Cherry Cake #2 with a cure smells exactly like Cherry Pez to me and has a very similar high type to the NCG mommy. As you can see the resin production is pretty insane. Very, very potent

Uhhhh...Cherry Cake. Which dad did you use for the Orange Goo? What's the dif between Cherry Cake and Cherry Cake 2? Is trying to guess what NCG is a contest? Ha ha.

Glad you're recovering. I was gonna make it up your way a few months back but had to cancel the trip.

Getting access to a new cut that finishes in 42 days indoor but is BOMB. Everyone I gave a sample to raved about it and that was cut a few weeks early! Finishes outside like Sept 21. When I get all the details and stuff will let you know. Might make nice breeding stock but a polyhybrid sooooo not stable. When I tried it was like holy shit this is good and was definitely surprised.
