HFH at 52N.....What strains should i go for?..
Hello everybody,
This is my first post on this site as ive only recently found it and all about these Danish strains. Ive been growing outdoors in the uk for a few years now and it always seems to be the same problem of not finishing in time. This year i have out Purple Maroc as i read this was a really early flowering dutch strain, but even now it still looks like its got a few good weeks left in her, so im not going to ask for biggest yield and potentcy etc but some good plants that will finish by about the 1st or so week in October. Ive checked out seedebay and wondering when more will be going up and which ones to go for. Thanks in advance. Peace |

You can't go wrong with Danish Gold if you need a reliable yielder. They'll finish during September on your Lats.
Other HFH strains I can recommend are Danish Durban (less yield, more potent), Hashplant (longer flowering) and Purple Nepal (low yield, Nepal landrace, great taste!!!). Almost every strain from the HFH catalogue is able to finish on your latitude, just pick the ones which were meant as outdoor strains. |

Thanks for the advice, means and helps alot, im looking into alot of strains and the ones uve mentioned are definately on my list. What about crosses with the danish gold? i guess most of them will finish at my lat aswell?
I guess all the new seeds will go up on seedbay soon, after the outdoor harvest is completely finished and what not?? At the minute theres not very many. Thanks |

Arnes cheese is already on Zenseeds and Arnes purple cheese, i might have to go for some of that. Also been looking at Danish Durban, Early Durban, Arnes Kush, Danish Gold and AfghanxErdpurt. I think all these strains will finish at my lat (52N), fingers crossed for next year, lol. Ill be gettin some other crosses aswell when they come up on the bay.
good times.

Thanks again for the advice all is welcome, them 2 strains seem like a good choice aswell. Ive just been reading about them and they seem very good. I was just looking at buying some seeds from Zenseeds and then found out they only accept bank transfer or cash payments, and im not to sure about this as ive never done it before. I dont know weather to wait and see if they go on seedbay or what. We shall see i suppose.
Cheers again |
