?????????????????

Hello in the future I am going to purchase , either two packs of panama , or two packs of punta rojo.
I grew up smoking columbian red , & I am looking for something like it , so if they are the same strength I would rather go with the columbian that I am familiar with.
But if the panama is stronger then I would prefer that.

? witch one is stronger ?

Ive not smoked PRojo, but have a nice panama gal around. Im a light weight and ONE good puff lasts me 1hour give or take. Then I just take another puff. By the third puff, 3 hours or so later, i hit the ceiling...

Just my exp with one pheno.

I would go for the punta rosa (columbian red x panama) , i have 8 going right now and can see phenotypes that lean to either parent. Very vigorous plants!

I too preferred Colombian red to Panama... in the 1970s. Don't know what's best now.

Good question. I have the Panama and love it, One Q's post is my experience too except I'm not sure I even hit the ceiling; I get really high off of the Panama. But I'm interested in getting the Punta Rosa also, just don't want to duplicate too closely something I already have.

Thanks for the input swayzak.

hey guys i think difference is quite clear... punta rosa is cross of panama pelo rosa as mother - one plant, an father was colombian male - one plant, so its 1 : 1 cross, kinda F1 although i dont know how both lines are relative...

panama is stable cross, with few phenos, one of these pheno is pelo rosa also... but there are green pheno, also longer flowering red expressions.. its stable line with using multiple parents...

Thanks Fluffy Clouds, that helps and makes sense. It would be nice to get these and find a Colombian pheno female. I have a green pheno Panama, so it would also be nice to find a pelo rosa leaning female too. Seems like a no-brainer when you put it that way. Cheers

I guess what im asking for is a smoke report. I cant seem to find one.I am not interested in yeild , taste , or flowering times , just effect.
I have smoked , & grown columbian red bud (punta rojo), so I dont need to know about that so much , but panama is before my time.So any info on that phenotype , or how it influences the lumbo side.
Any smoke report on the effect of punta rosa would be greatly appreaciated

Being new release not many reports yet about Punta Rosa. Its a kinda F1, purple haired Panama mom crossed with a nice Punto Rojo male. A long and difficult selection due hermi issues in lots of colombianas. They grow very well and easyly
Effect is clearly heady and active, flavours move towards hazelnut and lavanda cream, bit more spicy
Pics show whats coming from few seeds dropped in May, not too slow for what it is, is flowering very quick right now. You can expect harvesting in a window of 12-16 weeks
Some individuals show a madly resin layer on leaves
Needless to say been sativa blood, is convenient to give them some slow and long drying and curing for best results
Wish soon some other growers may tell us about results for best and more objetive data
