After getting so much rain this summer hopefully it will be a dry fall. No frost yet, but i've been dealing with mold and flooded out spots. I've cut a couple plants a little early that i afraid would be over-run with mold

Well here are a couple pics from this weekend.

Last year i had a couple of nice plants that i wanted to let go until they were fully ready. I decided a week to a week and a half should do it. Well before i could harvest them rain moved in and i lost almost half the yeild to mold. This year i decided if they were close to being done and looked like mold might take over i'm just going to cut them. Tough call to make, but i would rather have smokeable buds that are a little less potent than moldy buds.

Last year plants.

Buddle, looking real good! Love the looks and size of that NL99!!!

Sorry to hear about that, Gratephul! Glad it wasn't all you had going!

I can totally understand your deciding to take them early, CC, especially considering what happened last year!

Here's my first 2 plants hanging! The 2 largest ones in the middle are my fluffy, stick-o-bud Frisian Dew, and the rest is a Passion #1.

And the top of the FD.

All the best,
TG

Been raining 3 days here on the coast. I'll check my PP tues after, hopefully, it dries out tomorrow.

Hey, whoever nominated my PP for last month's PotM, thanks! I see the nomination originated in this thread. Course I didn't notice til after the voting, but coming in 2nd was pretty cool!

Buddle's just kicking ass, and even if it's a little early, clearcutter, looks like your gonna do pretty nice for yourself! Really pretty buds!
tg, good one yourself on bring 'em in! Looking good!

Sorry to hear about the mold gratephul. Really got to go w/ a proven outdoor strain next yr.
Hope everyone else makes it thru this wetness mold-free!

Hey everyone looking great. Same here with the rain for the past 2.5 days HL. Hoping everyone in the area doesn't run into mold problems. I haven't yet (knock on wood) but after this weekend it could be a possibility.

TG that FD bud is looking good. Looks like the kinda bud that you break up a .3 and its enough for a huge j.

And nice pics CC, live and learn right? I'm hoping to not have to learn about the mold this season heh.

I have 3 good sized Early Skunks out side right now. I'm on the coast as well, and it has been raining here quite a bit this month . It sucks because the last couple of years I've had to chop a couple weeks early due to mold. That shit can destroy your whole crop quick! The Early Skunks are supposed to be a "mold resistant" strain, but I dunno if they can handle this amount of moisture. I'm gonna go check them today and hopefully I won't have to chop them before they are ready. I'll post pics at harvest (hopefully in a couple weeks). Good luck to all you coastal croppers. I hope your harvests are bountiful.
