Ok, so I am just going to spit it out. Put my ten SD IBL plants into flower 2 weeks a go. within a week, five males were immediately apparent. took them out, and put them outside in order to collect some pollen.

everything was good the next few days, the other plants started growing pistils and what not. then, on monday i went in to do my two week hair cut, and i noticed EVERY SINGLE FEMALE was growing a crazy amount of male flowers. i freaked the fuck out, and straight up killed every female. the other half of the flower room has a crop about 5 weeks in, and i really did not want to mess with that.


ok, now before people start telling me its all my fault, that very well may be true. not starting this thread to talk shit, as its apparent that rez does good work. but, i just think its crazy that this happened. i have no light leaks, but i did notice that the green light from my sentinel controller is not covered. maybe that did it. also, i supercropped all of them during the stretch, and i do no know if this may have stressed them into hermying.


ok so yea, just wanted to share my pain with everybody. i do still have mad pollen that i collected from the males. not sure if i want to use it or not, but maybe some other peeps on here can tell me if i did something wrong. prolly leaving info out, so if anybody wants some let me know. thanks peoples.

Bummer. A green light shouldn't cause herms. I'd be skeptical about using the pollen.

Sour D has a herm tendency homie... But usually late flower sterile nanner or two. I wish this worked out differently for ya, I split a pack of sour with my bro, same release... His five were all males... Doesn't sound promising for me either !! I'm partial to Rez chem/sour hybrids anyway !!

Shit happens. Could be something you missed environmental wise, could be just bad luck. I've had light leaks and mad temp swings with no herms, and had a tight, dialed in setup with herms.

Doubt it's the green light. As I recall, lots of folks use a green filter to muck around the flower room without disrupting the light cycle.

Were they lil pollen sacks appearing at the nodes? about 15-21 days in? I almost expected these on a few phenos. They barely showed up on my SD's from January '10

yea it sucks, I literally had a nervous break down for a good two hours. I saved up for these beans and have had so much time invested into this that i thought all was lost.....

but luckily the fiance smacked some sense into me. still have the sssdh beans, and a shit ton of other stuff i picked up in the 'Dam this summer. most definitely upset to not have any SD in the stable right now, but if it is meant to be it will.
